Nice in 2 weeks these will be my specs.
Cooler Master HAF X case
Hyper evo 212 CPU cooler
850 or 800W psu (whatever Is on sale)
Asus GTX 780 gpu
Intel i7 3770 ( not going to overclock) in a few months ill get 4770
I was originally going to get GTX770 which is a solid 60-65 fps ultra on crysis 3 but w 780 I hear you get 15 to 20 more fps and its only 200 more.

I got the GTX 770 4GB, I figured the difference between that an the 780 wasn't enough to me. I hope the 800 series next year will be a bigger difference though, it's getting to a point that there's not a huge difference between each generation of graphics cards.

PSU doesn't effect performance, if it's underpowered then your system will have problems. Just as long as you have enough power for your components.

But isn't that sort of like the heart? If it's not pumping enough blood; then how can your muscles work at its best?

Just need the amount that all your components need....anything over that doesn't help, just leaves room for upgrades that may require more juice.

The components only use a certain amount of power, they don't use any more than that, so while things can get screwed up if you don't have enough (stuff stops working, the computer crashes or restarts and stuff like that) it doesn't work any better if you have more power than what's required.

This is a really old post, but I have to say, kudos to Sexy for pointing out Das Keyboard . I just purchased a Model S Professional, and I can't wait to finally get it. It'll replace my old, $9 piece of junk that I've been using since last year (in which the paint on the keys are rubbing out).
