I wanted to get an IPS monitor with Gsync. Really love the way the swift rog looks but I want to take full advantage of my 980 ti.

I may just end up buying the Acer Predator, wish the frame wasn't so glossy and with the lame Stand.

PC Games Industry Growing Faster Than Consoles - eTeknix

Interesting figures, PC gaming has been growing faster than console gaming and as we knew, has surpassed consoles now. Maybe if this continues we'll start seeing a shift in development priorities (better games as a result) which would be beneficial for all gamers, whatever their chosen platform.

Just received my Case today and finished purchasing all the parts I need for my tower. Just need a keyboard, Mouse and the Monitor. So far it seems like I may just end up getting the Acer XB270HU. I wanted to get a 24" screen but seems like the 27" at 1440p is the way to go.

Just got this bad boy today, wished it came with the MGS game but it came with a mouse pad instead so I guess a freebie is Better then nothing.

Decided to go with this since EK announced That they were making waterblocks for these cards.

Nice! That would be my pick from the current gen cards, they look so cool with that illuminated logo and have the performance to match the looks. But I'm waiting for the next round of cards before I upgrade my GTX 680sc as it is doing just fine still.

As far as I know this GPU can handle consistent 60fps at Ultra settings on a 1440p monitor. I believe it can get more than 60fps without even needing to overclock it. I just ordered my monitor yesterday so it will be about a week till I can find out myself.

Acer XB270HU IPS 1440p with 144Hz. Cant wait to see how it looks compared to my brothers 1080p with a GTX960.
