I haven't been following the release, but I guess I'll wait until M$ patches any problems before I download it. I'm still using Windows 7 SP1 and it's VERY stable :lol.

So, uh, anyone planning to upgrade to windows 10? It's coming out in a week.
Why would anyone in his right mind use W8 or higher is beyond me... :lol
I'm still on Windows 7, thank the Lord.

8, 8.1 is light and fast.

You should really try it out.

10 will be more like 7. The only thing with 10 is that all updates are installed without your say, so that sort of sucks! :lol

I've tested out 10 and it's pretty good, the problems with 8 were genuinely bad decisions that made it less usable, so the changes they've made with 10 bring it back. There's a few things you have to get used to that are just improved ways of doing things, but nothing like the bad designs of 8.

I'll be switching to 10 on a few computers, but in some cases I'm going to hold off because I do software development and I need to make sure that certain programs work before I switch over. While they intend for everything that supports 7 to still work, it isn't necessarily the case.

The machine I was testing it on wasn't really gaming capable so I wasn't able to test that though it should be pretty OK. My issue was that I have some Unity3D touchscreen apps we developed at work that didn't run correctly, they just came up as black screens though that could be my own issue, but it's a reason I'm not going to update my development machine yet.

I love 7 and never dared try 8 or 8.1, but I'll give 10 a shot. Hope it turns out good for everyone.

Thanks. Guess I'll try 10 eventually.

i'm tired of Downloading Big Patches .. and that seems the case with this game .. and i don't delete games that made me download big Patches either on Console and now PC

Just my guess, but I don't think they're simply patching this thing :lol.

And they still haven't deleted the currently activated versions of Arkham Knight on the PC. Those who have gotten refunds can still download and play this crappy game if they wanted to.

Wondering if I should sell my two 780s and pick up a single 980ti, instead. It'll run several FPS lower at 1080p, but I can use the reduced power consumption :crying.

You can do that for now, then get another 980 later down the line. Just don't sell the SLI bridge? Or get a new PSU?

I think I'll sell them separately. I already have a 850 W PSU for SLI :lol. The 900 series cards use a lot less power, though.
