Sorry doesn't work. I even called them and they said it could not be changed. So right back at ya. This is a feature that is on the newer Macbooks and as of 3 weeks ago, still could not be changed....but maybe they will figure something out in the future.

I have comcast for my cable internet provider and they give me with free virus protection. It is also included with Windows.

And I have had my laptop for 7 years! The DVD drive finally crapped out because I used it a lot...still have Windows XP - so I'm going to upgrade and get a new laptop when I get my tax return.

I wouldn't install any software that Comcast gives you...



I tried Ubuntu once, and while it's cool--I realized I had no use for it and uninstalled it.

To be honest, this is the main thing that holds me back from gettign one.

the only thing that's holding me back is the money..all that for a computer that'll be obselete by the time you pay it off. I've been using the same PC since 2002. I paid $800 total
