Should be.

I remember posting in the Pinhead thread for SSC where someone said most companies just give you a random number.

Which is funny, considering the only places I've ordered statues from were a first come first served basis.

I think Jerry underestimated Scorpion. But then he is loyal to his customers by keeping the ES low, he said he does not want to do high ES on Exclusive.

Watch and learn SS!:lecture

I don't think SS will ever learn. I think they're at the point of no return honestly. Large ES is here to stay.

Got an email back from CS saying as long as I got a paypal confirmation I should be ok even though I was 23 seconds early. So it looks like I'm good to go.

Good to hear man. Glad you get to enjoy this incredible piece!

Pretty sure that's how Pop Culture Shock does it too. Only place I've seen give you the # based on PO is Gamingheads.

You guys also have to remember that ES is a function of available space to store stock. As companies expand, they expand their warehouses. Sideshow likely has the ability to sit on extra pieces for a while now, so with characters that sell well, it's advantageous for them to have a higher ES even if it takes 6 months or more to move it all. I doubt PCS has anywhere near the space to store extra pieces for extended periods. I know Jerry and XM like to say how they care about low ES for collectors, and I believe them, but let's not pretend there aren't other mitigating factors that contribute to these companies keeping their ES low.

I truly wonder how many pieces SS has eating up warehouse space. They've got to have 10's of 1000's....

Congrats again DarkMario and Surly you're probably onto something there man. Never even thought of it like that but that could be a definite possibility

Sent from the Cockpit of the Millenium Falcon

I'll leave the discussing if SS vs PCS business decisions to you guys, but the excitement of ordering that Scorpion last night reminded me of the good ol' PPO days :lol

I remember the Patient Zero PF disaster and how Sideshow's site locked up and people couldn't order for HOURS! I was one of those people, lol. Also waking up early for PO's like the Galactus bust were exciting and intense.

That bust sold out within seconds and by the time I added it to cart it was gone...

Sounds terrible but I miss those good ole' days!

Now you can just stroll into a PO 6 months late and secure an EX...!

What happened to you Sideshow? I mean,.... WHAT HAPPENED?

There will be no more MK9 pieces (unless you consider the MK9 Klassic look). We are focused on Klassic and MKX now.

No 1:3 Kintaro but good chance you will see a 1:4 late next year.

I think he is on schedule for a February PO
Raiden will be shown by end of the month.

1:3 Klassic
1:3 MKX
1:4 Klassic
1:4 MKX
1:1 MKX Busts

Great updates by Jerry!

Focusing on Klassics and the new MKX.

Plus he has listed 1/3 scale MKX as well!

Kitaro a possible next 1/4 boss.

I'm so happy with the MK collection right now.

If a piece doesn't sell well I imagine they simply don't produce the entire ES. Like Mythos Kenobi which was opened up again later because of high demand.

I wouldn't be mad if that 1:3 MKX piece is Scorpiom. He seems like a prominent character already and I love the Assassin's Creed influence of his look.

Meh. Don't really care about 1/3 mkx.

I will really hate myself if the 1/3 klassic line goes beyond scorpion sub and rept. It will be awesome if they stick to mk1/2 in this line. But the money issue. Ouchhhhh

Besides the ninjas... I'd like to see Ermac... Baraka... Kano.
