Edit:
Just noticed you were one of the people throwing items at peoples cars. No wonder why you would be quick to call others out on being a coward.

I had a person tailgating me, three feet from my bumper at 65mph, at night, on a backroad with lots of curves and hills. I slowed down three times to let them pass, and they didn't. So, I threw a nickel out the window. I don't see how I was unjustified. They were clearly doing it on purpose. I take my life a bit too seriously to restrain myself when it's being threatened. My only regret is not having something to throw that would do actual damage.

Did you miss everything I said about it being a b___h move to not confront a bad parker directly?

Now thank you. I stand by my post. :lecture

I didn't expect that you wouldn't. :duff

I hear what you are saying. However, I simply don't agree. :duff

Fair enough. And thanks for giving me the chance to defend my position. It is much appreciated.

No problem! It's a tough call no matter how you look at it. I'm not saying I'm all high and mighty either. In my younger years I done worse. LOL!

I'm an extremely polite driver, and I'm an excellent driver in general. Always have been. Driving since 16, and the only accident I've been in was because the torque nut fell out of my steering column. Even in that one, I managed to avoid harm, and that's near miraculous, considering I had no steering and shot off the road at about 50mph. I take driving very seriously, and 999 times out of a thousand, I don't act on so-called road rage. If I act out against another driver, it's because they've crossed well over the line. I can understand how people wouldn't sympathize with retaliation of any kind, but if no one ever puts their foot down, those kinds of drivers will become more than the norm on the roads; they will dominate.

I really feel sorry for you guys that feel the need to damage someone's property just because they may not have parked well. That kind of thinking is why this world is in such a bad shape and causes crime, war, etc. You can make all the excuses you want, and try to rationalize it anyway you can, but you are far worse than the bad parkers of the world. And no, I've never had my car keyed because I know how to park, but that wouldn't matter anyway... two wrongs don't make a right.

ya but if you dont punish people then they will run wild doing what ever they want.

...Entering a thread only to suggest that some of the posters have issues is cowardly by comparison, something I never figured BadMoon for. Lonnie never struck me as one either, so I can only imagine that they were trying to keep the peace while making it clear that they didn't approve...

I didn't just "enter the thread" to suggest that some of the posters have issues... I read the thread (which was already that long by the time I found it), and then posted my opinion. And my opinion stands... damaging other people's property will never make things right and only leads to more anger and stupid acts.

ya but if you dont punish people then they will run wild doing what ever they want.

So I guess you are now "judge, jury and executioner"? If you want to "punish" someone for something you think is wrong, then go through the proper channels. Call a cop next time... oh wait, the other driver didn't actually commit a crime did they? You (and the other key-carrying posters) were just angry because you were inconvenienced! What a wonderful world we live in...

I agree. I just thought it was proper to name the posters you were judging. Also, if it were inappropriate to impose sentence on someone because it would exacerbate anger, we wouldn't punish people for committing real crimes. Fines and imprisonment do little to improve the disposition of those who are condemned, and frequently, it inspires further crimes to be committed.
