No, that one was taken looking toward the ocean from a hiking trail on the north side of the Golden Gate. It is actually a companion to the other one that you really liked. Both were taken from different points on the same trail, one on the south side, the other on the north. :)

Ah, very cool!

I was down below the Golden Gate, but I never found that spot. Great pics!

Wow - just wow! A lot of talent on this board for sure. :clap Great photos everyone - can't wait to see more.

Me and my wife at Tenaya Lake. (Had my camera on a little mini tripod that has a built in velcro strap--it's wrapped around a tree!)

Hope you guys enjoy them. :)

Thanks guys. I really like the shot of the Willet, too, Robo. I like how he's standing in the wave and it didn't topple him over. The clarity turned out nicely. :)

Going through some of my files from a few years back, I found some more shots I took during a trip to Bodega Bay. Here are a couple of landscape shots:

And here are a few "studies" type shots I took. I was fascinated by the colors and textures of these shots. They may not appeal to everyone (or anyone ;)), but I like them.
