Okay Agen, I've decided to post these in honor of you. I don't know how you get the amazing bird shots you do, but here are a couple I have done:

This last one isn't particularly artistic, but soooo cute! :)

And a couple more:

First I thought you would all get a kick out of what Yosemite Falls looked like when I was there. :( :lol

Also wanted to share one of the most magical places I have ever been. The picture doesn't exactly capture it, but wow, truly a one of a kind place.

The Esalen Institute.

The building is where you can get the best massage of your life, and soak in natural fed hot tubs, while looking out over the Pacific.

And Redwoods in Muir Woods.

Which do you prefer? I took the picture this way:

But it also looks good like this:

Thanks! :)

Any thoughts on which way the redwood pic looks best?

...the more I look at it, the more I think I was right the way I took it. Not sure though...

I agree. At first glance, the second version looks more "normal" since the viewer can establish a frame of reference about up versus down, but ultimately I don't think normal is good for that shot. The original angle is slightly disorienting, but in a way that draws you into the photo better.

Mag, I have to say that I like the redwood pic the second way, but that's just me. A great shot, either way! Different strokes for different folks.
