Agreed OST is a great soundtrack......I wish I could play guitar (sounds amazing)

Some of the stuff they do with the guitar is insane.

OST is the most overall enjoyable score from start to finish because it heavily uses Jack-centric music from the past films because he's so prominent in the film. Some of the other scores lose me a bit at times with some of the themes for the new worlds, but overall, I love the whole body of Pirates music. Curse is probably the score I'd pick to listen to from start to finish if given one choice.

I have the recording sessions for all 4 of the first films, waiting for 5, you lose so much with the short, commercial albums.

There's a version of the Davy Jones theme that plays during the credits of DMC that is altogether different than the one on the commercial score release...and it is soooo much better, it's gorgeous. I could never find it back in the day. I had to rip the audio straight from the bluray and edit it. I'd be interested to know if it is part of the recording sessions.

It actually should be coming out around same time as Hot Toys Jack Sparrow, a great time, maybe even the Blu Ray, though I see a Blu Ray hitting by October.

Do you want like a super high end one? Master Replicas made one years ago that pops up on eBay for around $150-$200, if you're ok with cheaper, Disney store is selling a decent one as part of a kid's cosplay kit for $20, it's adult sized though, I'm planning to get one with my next paycheck and then paint some weathering effects on it.

Ahhh...I remember the "Master Replicas" days. Good times collecting the .45 scale lightsabers and .33 Blasters. I actually have the first 2002 Darth Vader FX lightsaber. Also the Dooku FX. Always wanted them to do Sidious DX sabre

I have 9 of the .45 scale sabers and 4 FX sabers, I had ROTS Obi-Wan 1:1 but had to sell it sadly as well as a couple FX sabers including the double Maul.

I'd like the MR piece, but it's very rare to come by now. I ran across a forum where some members were asking for close to 400$ USD.

Is there any pics for the disney store one besides the stock photo online? I haven't seen one in person and I can't really tell on the quality.

Yeah, I really miss MR. I still have one of my ROTS sabers.

I'm also interested in more info on how to get the recording sessions, MaulFan. Complete PotC Soundtracks is one of my Soundtrack-Grails! I found the track listings for these on Hans Zimmer's site and got the 5-7 sample tracks, but am wondering about the rest. The other files don't appear to be just sitting in the /mp3 directory. I don't suppose they rotate the samples?

I saw DMTNT for the first time last weekend and was pleased to see the theater was quite full after nearly a month.

Saw this again today, me and the GF dragged the roommates to it. They loved it! Man I really hope this isn't the last one, the adventure genre is slowly dying, we don't get movies like this very often. (especially one that's this much fun). It really captures the tone and fun of the first 3. DMC is my favorite, but this is right up there with it along with COTBP.

Can't wait for the blu.
