Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

I've got no idea what they're going to do next year from the 2009 releases - any ideas? Nothing obvious springs to mind like it did this year.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

What we know
Hellboy 2
The Spirit
Predator

Maybes
Watchmen
Hulk (rumor)

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

Maybe Terminator : Salvation

That would be awesome!

And I'm not sure Predator is still on their list. Maybe the whole thing with Fox just soured them on the project. I mean, its been 4 months since we saw those pics that then got pulled. What's taking so long on the likeness rights?

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

Wookster posted a very recent quote saying the Predator is coming.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up the Wolverine license. Maybe the new Star Trek as well?

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

So, the Cannibal Jack Sparrow, comes with the extra head (smirking) ?

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

A 1:6 Hulk??? :google

I very much doubt this will happen.
It would basically be a 1/6 mound of rubber. With barely any articulation unless they did something completely new and awesome which I doubt they would since they could probably only use it for this one and only figure.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

They've done rubber bodies before. And it looks like they're doing a rubber body for Hellboy--notice in the Sideshow preview for the Hot Toys Hellboy that there aren't any visible joints on his chest.

I imagine with a slightly firmer rubber they could create a shell around an articulated skeleton - the rubber wouldn't need to be solid. They could probably maintain some decent articulation that way, although you're right that they would need to create something completely new. Still, they have no way if using things like the Power Loader or Tumbler for anything else, so they could choose to engineer an internal skeleton just for the Hulk.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

And they could use that same skeleton for Abomination. Not sure what else though. If Iron Monger happens, I'd say the Hulk has a fair shot at being made.

Not to sound like a jerk. But, could someone answer this one for me. I am considering ordering it from BBTS and wanted to see if it came with both heads or just the Cannibal Jack head.

Thanks. :)

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

Excellent, thank-you.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

Well I got a Cannibal Jack off eBay for a bit more than BBTS had it (didn't know it was in stock there) but did just get the Will Turner from BBTS.

Re: Official Hot Toys Pirates of the Caribbean Thread

I think I might order the Cannibal version. Quick question, I know it comes with the second head (the smiling version). Does, it come with his black hat as well?
