It'll be fine dipping the head about half way into some hot water. The heads with the long neck attachment come off sooooo much easier this way than the sculpted neck heads.

They can run you anywhere from $30-50 depending on your timing when getting them. Right now the 24 figures are hot, so sellers are trying to jack up the prices, you'd end of spending as much for one as a whole figure. If you get a Mr. Bean body (which is the same body), you could probably snag one for a pretty good deal.

I had the same thought. The Pro is around the same scale with the EB body. In fact the POTC boots could probably easily slip on to the Pro's calves without having to transplant any feet on them.

Well, no more need for speculation, chatter and Veni's work finally motivated me to stop being a slacker, here's Pro Jack.
PROS
Shoulders much more Depp than the TrueType.
CONS
Shirt sleeves always seemed too big on the TrueType, they seem even bigger on the Pro.
Cannibal Jack boots, the left requires someting to elevate the leg within it and keep it in there, right boot fits on tight and fine.
Jack's coat is sewn for the TT, because of this, on the Pro, it puffs out at the shoulders and you lose all the gain in the shoulders, which makes the body swap only good for jacketless Jack.
NEUTRAL
You gain little in the height column, looks about the same as when you take off the extenders on the TT legs. The body will also require paintwork around the chest and forearms, Pro is too light and pink compared to HT Jack.
OVERALL
While I feel there's some subtle gains to the Pro swap, if you want a jacket on Jack, you'd need a custom made jacket fit to the pro. I'm not going to swap because I want the Cannibal and the jacket on classic Sparrow, and I'll just hope that Hot Toys makes an MMSDX Jack with the TDK narrower shoulders and all.

I guess for a true height solution I'm back to cutting a section out of the thigh. Blast -- I hate that surgery.
I wonder how that Enterbay body would stack up with yours Sean? Sounds like it's about the same.
Also, to get a little more height out of Davy, you can raise the head (pull straight up) and also do the same for the boot foot (pull it out and then set it back gently). Gives you an extra 1/2" of height.

Based on Ven's pictures, height wise the EB body looks like it'll be the same effect, and as far as the clothes, I have a hunch it'll be the same.

It's those pirate boots that throw off the height on the figures. The boots add an extra inch at least so Sparrow and Will end up being 13" tall... couple that with the fact that Davy is a little short (as is Swann) and you have big trouble in little China.
Drilling the boots out won't help because they're already as deep as you can put the shin in and still work the knee. So the only answer is shortening the thighs or the torso to compensate for the inch gained by the boots.
