My money is on DX 04 likely being T2 related or Reeves Superman, with Rambo and Rocky only getting a glimmer of hope having been mentioned at one time, but everyone's been hammering their FB page about Superman so it wouldn't surprise me to see it be that, or the T2 because of that line moving forward. Also, a new Iron Man is a strong contender. Much as I want a DX Jack, with a 4th film known to be coming, I see them waiting, it's not relevant now and will be then, the other stuff I mentioned is hot now or not likely to ever have anything relevant and new to tie to. Rocky and Rambo would only benefit right now from Expendables getting Stallone back on minds.

I guess a Reeve Superman is a possibility with a 2 in 1 (Kent / Superman) similar to Dlx Joker. I don't see the PERS adding anything to the Reeve Superman but they did an Dlx MJ as well. I am not saying neither MJ nor Reeve figure shouldn't be made, I don't see the benefit in a Dlx version.

The eyes of certain characters provide intrigue and depth to the character such as Ledger (Joker), Bale (Batman), Depp (Sparrow) and even Bruce Lee (Enterbay). I get having the PERS system to enhance those figures but throwing it on a figure just because is blah. However, if the masses are flooding their site for Superman or T2 requests HT will listen. Oh well, the wait will continue

I agree that the nature of PERS seems better suited to certain characters, especially when it's a fragile, breakable system, I'd rather stick with paint that won't break when it's not necessary, but between MJ and Batman, I think DX and PERS will be applied to any figure they feel like making a spectacle release out of. Reeves Superman being one of the most coveted 1/6 figures ever, is a likely candidate because of that. Does Superman need PERS, probably not, would HT see a long sought after figure finally delivered as worthy of making a big hype and a Suped up figure, absolutely.

I would drop the x-tra cash and get the Cannibal Jack Sparrow. The two head sculpts are first rate. Just pick up an original HS and you have three great alternatives.

Who knows if HT will do DX Sparrow. so why wait.

Here are my photos of standard Jack Sparrow figure, unmodified, as it comes from Hot Toys.

I also have photos of the Cannibal Jack, but the smiling head shots are a mix of putting that head on the standard figure and later swapping my Jack figures onto Slim True Type bodies and replacing the coat with the Medicom coat.

These figures are probably pricey being well out of circulation, unless you find a pretty decent deal you're comfy with, you might be better of hoping for HT to do more when POTC 4 comes out, and knowing them, I'm sure they'll at least do a new Jack, and it ought to be even better than the first 2.

went to check out the Black Pearl yesterday in Newburgh NY . was noy able to board it because of pending Coast Guard Inspection which never happen before i decided to bail. may give another whirl today if i can find the time .

Ween you are correct, when a ship visits another country, the 'guest' country's flag (Courtesy Flag)is hoisted at the stern as a sign of courtesy.

Medicom hat doesn't fit on the HT head
We all know that POTC4 is coming but I really hope Jack will have a different outfit, not new but at least with some little modifications, otherwise, our HT Sparrow will look outdated.
I don't want to see the HT Jokers re-re-release happen again with Jack.
