The best HT sculpt is the cannibal one, though too specific, and you hate to remove the cool cannibal makeup for a clean head.

I'm riding a lot of faith on HT getting it right finally with the DX Jack.

I hope at least one head, since we might be lucky enough to get 2, has the likeness quality of what you've posted with this expression. That would be the ultimate Jack Sparrow head for me, serious, which he is, with a slight smirk of cockyness too. It's what HT was going for with the spare Cannibal Jack portrat but they missed, it looks more like a fully smiling head than smirking.

Yes cant wait to see what the DX offers, I really hope you get your wish Sean, I am pretty sure it will come with that serious/smirking sculpt and lets hope they just get the likeness better this time

If not the smirk, then I'd like it to be close to what you posted. I'd like a spare head that's a bit more rediculous like the Cannibal head for fun with photos, but long term display, those are the 2 expression to best sum up Jack Sparrow for me.

The reason I love the expression I have is this sums up Jack for me when he first arrives in TCOTBP on his paddle boat hahahaha

You need a 1/6 crows nest similar to what Lord Vicious has for the ultimate Jack display.

I never bought any of the HT POTC figures over the years, I got a Medicom RAH Jack a short while back for a really good price to use for parts but way before the first HT Jack was announced, I bought one of Sovereign Studios Jack figures and I still have it. Over the years I've tweaked it some, repainted it a bit, resculpted the eyebrows some and the beard, mustache, etc. Alot about the figure is inaccurate, but it just has a certain charm about it. I'll get it off the shelf every once in a while and tinker with it. I did get a real metal sword that Auret from OSW made years ago, it is incredible. I also found a great 1:6 scale treasure chest for him as well! I'd like to get a real leather hat made for him one day, I think it would help to cover up the top of his head (where I think he should have more hair sticking up over the bandana) and bring out the character and likeness a bit. I just can't help but love this figure though, it's got so many handmade items and real hair plus it's been fun to customize over the years!

I have no idea where I should post this pic but I think that you guys could enjoy it!
Here is a pic that I took last week at the tussauds museum @Las vegas of a 1/1 johnny depp wax statues!
I was blow away in front of him! It was impossible to me to find a difference with the real ahaha

Here is a sneak peek of a project I'm working on with my buddy Teddy Daniels aka Aaron.
Aaron was very lucky to get hold of a one of a kind Jack Sparrow sculpted by Adam its a beautiful sculpt, the best Johnny Depp I have ever seen. I'm currently making this the most accurate Jack Sparrow there is. This is the first stages dressing the slim body, before I start to weather all the clothes and accessories.
I have added a cloth bandana to the back of his head and platted his hair, I still have drill away part of the hat to make it sit correctly on his head, plus adding the other beads. Myself and Aaron are working very hard on this and its going to be a labour of Love. Let us know what you all think? Remember this is very early stages and enjoy.

I believe Its an altered Jack sparrow not the Cannibal one. I a fantatsic sculpt. I must say the Hot toys one is good and with a repaint it would look even better. Thank you for the comments buddy.
