I'm wondering if with rising gas prices, UPS is offering better deals. Maybe it'll be addressed in this week's newsletter. Like I said, just a few weeks ago I got a FedEx, so it's definitely something recent.

As good a guess as any. Whats funny is my GTG vs Saruman Dio came Fed-Ex but my Duel dio and this have come UPS.

Carefull unpacking, looks like they lost the keys at some point. You can see em in the box then...oops.
Finding it hard to judge by pics, really want to see this in hand.

I've come to accept cautious figure removing from the box as par for the course with any figure that has small accessories, doesn't matter who makes, they all are prone to slipping out of place.

Yeah, thats the one thing I noticed with my Capt Jack figure was that I had to be careful taking him out of the box or I could end up losing some stuff.

He looks good although too light colored for my tastes even though its probably accurate.

Pics looks great!

The only thing I noticed that does bother me: behind his legs you can see the inside of his coat which is just solid blue plastic -- not weathering or encrustaceans. Got to fix that.

Actually if you look closely you can see that they've painted green on the inside of the coat to make it look like seaweed or something.

I'll have to say, while he looks good, he does look a little plasticky for my tastes.

You can still get Davy from any number of other retailers. If you really want him, I would order him from somewhere else rather than wait around for a waitlist conversion. You'll save money that way as well.
