Playmates Terminator Salvation Figures (Pictures)

It's officially part of the 6 inch line.

However, that being said...

Real-life scaling would be accurate if it was placed next to a 3.75 inch figure. Compared to the other 6 inch scale figures, it's grossly under-scaled.

Also, off-topic, K-Mart is also the only store I've seen the new Star Trek Transporter playset and role-player Phaser as well so far.

These figures look like brazilian knock off figures, i hope Neca does a whole line for this movie because these are so ^^^^...why would anyone waste money on them, the 6inch neca endo blows these right out of the water..soo garbage!.

But yeah, these figures are absolute crap. Playmates sucks all around, how they got this license or why they even still EXIST is beyond me! I imagine these would have looked MUCH nicer if Hasbro would have gotten them, or even better: Mezco!

I have to admit that the HK and the T-1 look nice for their price, though. Makes me wonder what the Harvester will look like.

The Playmates Star Trek line look so much better than these. Kinda like the Hasbro Indy figs look like crap when their Star Wars counterpart look so much better.

they are fine for what they are...kid's toys. the humna figures look pretty bad...like they are left over from an arly 90's wave. the hk and t1 are cool though and i like the terminators (t-rip and t-700). my son digs robots so he has had fun with them. the t-700 has taken out a lot of gi joe and indiana jones figures so far. would have been great to have the sculpts on par with some of the star wars stuff that is out but oh well.

and yah, ra88, if mezco had gotten the license...wow. terminator figures as nice as their hellboy and jason 3 3/4'' figures would have been sweet.

Frankly none of these figures do much for me. The Hunter killer looks decent though.

These figures are bad, it's too bad that playmates got the license to make these and the new Star Trek figures. Not too fond of their toy making abilities.

I just got my 6" T-600 and it is a vast improvement over the smaller counterpart. I will add these pictures to Pg.1 as well.

They have the system the hasbro Jawas used to make there eyes light up, so if hes under a light it looks especially good. Not as much articulation as a Marvel Legends sort of figure but enough. Also includes a 2nd head so you can pick which one you like, I prefer the skin hanging off of him. I'll have to pick up a T-RIP and T-1 and see how they stack up.

I found a single lone Termiantor figure out of 3 diffferant stores. Luckily one I was looking for. The T-RIP, which is again, a HUGE improvement over the smaller 3" one. Still no neck articulation, but more movement then Neca or Mcfarlane's versions.

After reading these posts over the weekend I hit the local Kmart. They had all the 6" No 3". They SUCK! They also had the 10" figs they also SUCKED. The only thing that saves these toys is the HKs. I will buy them on clearance were most of this stuff will end up. Is Playmates stuck in the 80's were these toys look like they Teleported from. Maybe thats it there going for the Retro Toy look. There was an oddly shaped crater in the store that must be the answer.

Just found a T-1, I really like it, except its more in scale with the 3" figures then the 6" ones.

Depending how the Harvester looks, I may pick one up but thats not due out til July so this does it for me at the moment.
