selling the PS4 my girlfriend just told me about this morning, its in the sell section for 450$ shipped US and Canada

Giantbomb take on NFS Rivals graphics:

"That said, the notion that the PC version is locked at 30 frames-per-second is especially ridiculous. Even still, considering its higher resolution options, it can be the best-looking version of the game, with the PlayStation 4 behind it. The Xbox One version is roughly on par, but parts of it look a little grimy when compared to the PS4 version. "

lowered my sell price for my ps4 to 380$ in figure sell section since there seems to be no interest in it at retail ish prices

I hear ya!

Unfortunately, this is my first time I've had any problems like this with an order from Amazon. In this case they threw the PS4 box in a bigger box with only one lousy bubble wrap on top. No padding on the sides or bottom.

Heck, I ordered Panasonic's top model 65" Plasma TV last year and other top of the line electronics from Amazon and never had any problems like this. I guess there's always a first time for everything.

My brothers arrived with the same packing, no issues, although their distribution center is in WA and so are we.
Although I was a bit surprised they don't pad it all around :cuckoo:

Glad to hear your brother got his PS4 with no issues. Apparently mine must of been dropped either before it was placed in Amazon's shipping box or during transit.

What is the reasoning behind paying $400 for graphical processing that can be achieved with a $200 video card?

Or paying $50 a year for multiplayer that I get for free on my PC?

Same applies for the xbox one.

Exclusives people, exclusives, consoles are the most important platform because they've arguably given us the best stories throughout history, even more than PC, and if PC is lucky, they'll get a late port of said exclusives, and most of the time PC is not lucky.

Graphic upgrades are only a natural consequence.

Half-Life would like a word about the best story thing.

And Portal. I wouldn't put stories per se as a thing. Each Triple A exclusive, no matter which platform, has been pretty good.

I would, there was a time in PC, were storytelling wasn't as strong as it was on consoles, even today I think consoles are ahead in that regard.

The main thing I look for in a game is the story, then the gameplay, and the least important thing for me are the graphics.

Do you play indies on PC? A LOT of those games have better storytelling than console exclusives. Thomas Was Alone being one of my favorites, along with Stanley Parable and FEZ. I prefer all of those to Uncharted, Last Of Us or Halo, personally. They all have great stories but for me personally, PC indies is where it's at at the moment.

Upcoming and recent exclusives consist of the likes of Killzone 4, Forza 5, GT6, Halo 4, Gears of War 4, and Uncharted 4. I think I can live without exclusives for a while until they come up with something new.
