Ok what? What sort of retardation is that? Please elaborate on that comment about Mexico, go ahead I love me a good'ol dumb xenophonia story, are you drunk? High?
"It's up to the publisher", you're seeing ghosts, they said that "it's not required", that doesn't automatically mean that all developers will take advantage of that, if anyone does it, It'll probably be EA, activision, IDK, the usual companies, not everyone like with the Xbox one.
That is if I play along with that crazy assumption of yours.
So online is not free, I see no biggie there.
I don't think the publishers can do anything about used games without help from the console manufacturer, which is why Microsoft is doing it. They have to build that functionality into the console. The only thing the publisher can do is the online pass type thing.
Thanks for the link. I don't play multiplayer anymore, so the free membership should be good enough for me, although I am a PS Plus member anyway lol. Free was great, but paying doesn't bother me too much, since I always assumed MS used at least part of the money to improve servers or whatever, so I guess Sony will now do the same. I was always surprised they ever made it free really.Did I miss this? PS PLUS required for MP

Well If both systems will have a way of controlling Used games, Sony is being way smarter about it, by putting it on the publishers shoulders to go through with it, rather then how microsoft seems to be the ones forcing it.
But does this also mean we can have offline playing with PS3? Even if the game publishers want to some how check if you are supposed to be plaing thier games?
You dont even know what your profile says
I am not seeing ghosts, it was already stated by Sony. Yes it's it's not required, but what they failed to say in the conference was the extra part about its available for any publisher they previously stated. Kind of like how they double talked and fooled so many people about online gaming being free.
Most unrelated joke ever
Actually they never double talked about online gaming being free, and it was soon clear that it wasn't going to be free.
Saying that it will be the same as the Xbox1 DRM is both unfounded, by a long shot.
No, Online will stay free, just PSN+ will have a fee, like it does now.
Once again false info.

There will have to be some sort of system to check a game if the publisher wants to limit used games so 100% offline gaming is unlikely for those publishers.
Really? Odd care to explains this comment then?
Hmm what is the false info, that Microsoft will NOT have offline play?
or That Sony WILL have offline play?
Man console shopping has never been so complicated...
I own both a 360 and PS3 (I have the original Fat for older games).
However, 100% of my online gaming is on the 360.
I am extremly angry and worried with the direction MS is taking with the Xbox One.
Anyone that understands and enjoys videogame history will appreciate and agree with what i'm about to say.
Sony just decapitated MS at E3.
MS, it was fun while it lasted but you had this coming, shame on your greedy and draconian policies you wanted to shove down peoples throats, nickle and diming kids and parents.
I just removed my automatic subscription from Xbox live.
PS4 it is, no Xbox One for me, not while those stupid restrictions remain in place.
Change them MS and i'll own both.
