I wanna pre-order a PS4(UK) but dont know where from. Where has the best warrenty/suppot incase everything breaks down.
Bought my PS3 from Virgin, who shut down a year later lol



I never thought to ask but having a BC PS3 you can see the real difference with the HD re-release. Have you tried it out with a good re-release like MGS2?
How big is the difference really, i hear alot of (graphical) stuff is missing in these re-releases



dont understand why you would do that. PS4 aint backwards compatible.

I haven't played a PS2 copy of MGS2 on my PS3 in years so I can't speak on that. But the HD collection looks beautiful on the PS3. Although there are weird little things that were missed with the enhancement like seeing Solidus's eye under the eye patch. Most of the problems are game bugs and not visual problems.

They were but they pulled through after OpCapita bought them out. They did close a no of shops down though but there pretty competitive with online store.

On the visual side i noticed things like particle effects missing. There were less leaves falling in "The Boss" fight in MGS3, also none of them settled on the ground like in the PS2 version.
Or overblooming in general, or in The End fight there were less trees in the cutscenes. Its small but its the little things that add up. Especially when these things rendered better on less capable hardware!

Whats the benefit with amazon, im always weary of buying electronics online. Do they offer warranty or insurance etc..?

No hardware problems that I remember, and I was another one with the fat PS3. Knowing their reliability with consoles makes it less scary to preorder, that's for sure!

And that color looks good for the PS4, would be pretty neat if they made a special edition like that in the future.

It's amazing that the more powerful PS4 is $200.00 cheaper on release than PS3 from 7 years ago.

PS4 even outputs 4K.

I think the main reason that the PS3 was so expensive is because of the Blu Ray player. That was one of the cheapest options at the time for a bluray player and surprisingly it was ranked among the best as well.
