This is par for the course for potato, you should of seen what he did in the Arkham thread.

Pages and pages of you bashing whatever material the thread is about with something which you believe is better is trolling. Stop it. Just stop this crap already.

That may be, but he's not trolling here. Trolling is antagonistic and seeking an argument for the sake of douchery, I didn't see any of that here. I agree that it should be done in a format neutral place like the BF4 thread, but calling that trolling is an overstatement IMO.

That's not true at all. Trolling can take many forms and if a mod says stop the trolling its probably a good idea to do just that.

It's cool dude, let's just leave it as it is, the more you discuss about it the more things goes out of topic, it's like baiting you to go off topic, and i mean totally off topic.

PS4 is due november, however many things still unknown about it.

Lack of wow factor and confirmed powerhouse exclusives really gonna make many buyers waiting on the fence between MS & Sony. Nintendo seems to always be able to find their own playground.

Out of topic but i was discussing instead of bashing Batman, just i was in the batman thread where fans couldn't tolerate any discussions that belittle batman. also bear in mind i wasn't the person that dragged ironman into the post. you guys been doing it even before i started posting there.

You made it a point to try to push Ironman over Batman in a ****ing Batman thread. Cut the **** already dude. And now you're doing it with PC>PS4 in a ****ing PS4 thread.

Fair enough.

That's an issue with all new console hardware I guess. By the nature of technology, it's going to be out old before it even hits shelves. One of the biggest pros of consoles is that unlike PCs, (except for PC exclusives of course)developers can focus on making the games as good as possible and using everything the hardware has to get the most out of them. Maximum optimization. We're going to see some amazing looking games on the PS4 and One.

Kettle much?

Or maybe they had to lower their spec to keep the cost down instead of pumping it all up like PS3 did (bluray/crazy processor/high end card/backward compatibility).

But even for PS3, have we really seen PS3's limit? I think it still has alot of room yet developers had to take Xbox360 into consideration and not pushing the PS3 to it's full potential. That is the cons about multiplatform, you can say Xbox360 is dragging PS3 & PC down, while PC fails at optimization because developers based their games on consoles, this and that.

Only Exclusive titles will we see developers able to push the consoles to the limit. You can't be a wizard in all platforms. So far only a few developers focus on just 1 platform.

The problem with the old hardware was always the memory bottleneck. I do believe we've seen the best of what the PS3 can do. Naughty Dog and Guerrilla have milked that thing for all she's got.

Maybe Beyond Two Souls will show us exactly what PS3 can do? Or maybe if it was an exclusive like Heavy Rain was.

The Last of Us is definitely the best looking PS3 game. If they wanted, they could put it on PS4 and just up the render resolution and anti-aliasing and it would look like all the other next-gen games

Is The Last of Us considered the best looking PS3 game,?

I never seen BF3 on PC with ultra graphics turned on, was that better than The Last of Us?

Two very different games so it's hard to judge. I think if we could see The Last of Us running at a really high resolution, it could be the best looking game to date. Having said that, BF3 maxed out is really incredible looking. Not just the graphics themselves, but the size and scope of it with all the physics going. Awesome.

It will certainly push mo-cap and facial animations like never before. I'm not terribly impressive with these games as I can't help but see them as interactive cut scenes, but graphically, it's hard to argue with them.
