My prayers will go out to your father as well man. My dad needed one of his arteries by his heart cleaned out, as it was completely blocked, so I can relate somewhat. I'm hoping your dad gets well very, very soon.

Hey Gang,

Yesterday my dad started throwing up blood and this morning around 3 or 4 he woke me up to tell me that he called the ambulance to pick him up. Because he thought he was having a heart attack. He told me "Drew, you're in charge of calling everyone that needs to be told about what's going on. You're the man of the house now that I'm gone."

Scary words. Not something I wanted to hear to be honest. He just got back from having bypass surgery and is recovering. I won't be able to see him until tomorrow when he's better and able to get visitors.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I'm trying to not worry by taking my mind off of things. I really don't know what happens next or how he'll be from now on. I do know it'll be a week before he gets out of the hospital and 3 weeks at home before he can even go back to work. I'm taking my mind off of things by reading Batman:the long halloween and I'm going to make a trip by blockbuster to pick up a movie.

Morbach, My thoughts and prayers are with your dad, you, and Your whole family. Hang in there Pal and give all my best to Your family.

Your Pal

The Monster,
Nick

Prayers for your daddy! Take care of yourself as well. :)

Ya got my prayers as well. Heart stuff is really down to a science these days so you have really good odds.

My dad beat lung cancer and my step mother beat breast cancer. Your dad will be better than ever. Hang in there.

That's great gl! Not many beat lung cancer. They must've caught it early. My dad was misdiagnosed and by the time they found the cancer it was too late. Glad they're both healthy again! :)

That happened with my dad and colon cancer. They misread his first upper and lower GI xray, then 6 months later they ruined the next one in developing, he was finally diagnosed and went to the University of Penn for surgery where they left a sponge in him that turned septic.

Thanks. It's been over 13 yrs now. He has to get buy with 1 1/2 lungs but it hasn't stopped him from working out and rollerblading. He's 6'4" and built like a tank. I'm sorry to hear about your father however.
