Another thing, the prod doesn't look as toothy. Good choice. Her lips look plumper. I think I actually prefer the production piece.

Really? I was just thinking the opposite, that the white of her teeth really makes the red of her lips pop. :dunno

we can always look the positive side of this if we r getting the right one:This is the googly twin sister of Ivy... :rotfl

Her teeth were the only thing I didn't like on the proto. They made the lips pop but I also felt made her much more cartoonish. I also don't want to much detraction from her rack. Good job on those btw.

I think both the statues look gorgeous, am I the only one that doesn't have any complains about Ivy? I think everyone will be happy once they receive her

I'm not surprised the production pics were taken down, the lighting on them is a bit crude compared to that used for the proto, which was very artful (highlights on her eyes etc).

I think maybe they'll reshoot the production piece with better lighting and repost.

Nope, I still love her too. In fact, to be honest, I'm starting to prefer the new look of the face. It's less toothy, the lips look fuller, she looks more human and less animated and looks a touch more evil.

I also think those pics were taken down to re-shoot, because the lighting used was a bit darker than the originals which I think toned down the color brightness.

In general: never have I seen one person - and you know who you are - trying harder and for a longer period to create a hurricane of angst and cancelling of pre-orders, than I have in this thread. No pic is too blurry, too dark, too out there to be touted as "evidence."

i am starting to think that someone missed the waitlist and is trying to scare someone into cancelling, so maybe *he'll* have a chance to grab an Ivy. Nothing else makes sense.

Collectors should be sure of themselves when they plan on getting something. (Maybe the guess work irons out with years of collecting experience)

You have to love it 100% so that no other opinion can influence your likes and wants, cause when that happens then your collecting for someone else (hope that makes sense)

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is trust your instincts, the worst thing that could happen is that when you get it and don't like it in person just sheep it back for a refund or sell it and go on to the next PF on your list.

:wink1:

Hell no am not cancelling.ex is 2 good to be missed. Am sure will love Ivy, even if one of her boobs is bigger than the other....LOL

no sir, i love it too.. i dont see how that blury pic could even be used to discuss failure in QC ... worst quality pic EVER

:pfft:

I am so excited about Ivy...I still can't believe someone did that to get people to cancel. I never even considered canceling! I do however hope the best for this piece!
