I am happy for everyone that bought a regular but I do have to admit that this is a bad decision on the part of Sideshow.

I think it's great they are giving something extra, but in doing so they've taken something away from my direct EX purchase which is costing me well more than I'd be paying a local retailer for a reg.

Congrats to reg buyers. This is a solid bonus for you.

For SS, this isn't the way to encourage us to buy direct.

Also, think about those who bought the EX off eBay flippers. Man.

I agree completely, the ex says
'Full-bloomed' man-eating plants, for alternate display
plants plural on the ex. should mean more than one. especially since both are only shown on the ex. photo. A little deception on SC's part, but there nonetheless.

Not that I really care, I ordered the ex. and my only concern is a clean paintjob. Everything else is secondary to this, I don't ever plan to sell her anyway. I ordered direct because it's easier to exchange if the paint is mucked up, especially if you're international.

Yeah I'm not really sure who you're referring to either. For me, this has nothing to do with getting sonething that other people can't have.

I can probably speak for everybody who is frustrated that this has everything to do with Sideshow advertising one thing and delivering another.

But at this point I am not going to get upset because I don't know if it was a mistake or not. At this point I would just like them to send out my shipping notice, and of course to receive a nicely painted statue.

I am assuming Sideshow or the factory f-ed up. I think the regulars are all going to get the three heads. You might wonder....how do you know that? Well, it looks like Sideshow tried to cover their *** on the exclusive Ivy page. They now include a pic of just the one open-mouthed head on the main pic. I am pretty sure that wasn't there before. BUT, what they did miss is that the description for the exlcusive still says "Full-bloomed' man-eating plants, for alternate display."

I think Sideshow has some explaining to do.

Exclusives are an early incentive for early orders. For customers that jump on board right away and pay an NRD. I know that some people paid the NRD when ordering the regular, but I doubt those were initial orders.

This kind of reminds me of how they dealt with the Rogue PF. They changed all their photos on the site to the production piece. Thinking they could get away with the horribly painted portraits.

For me personally, I am happy everyone gets an added bonus.
For me, I forewent my retailer absorbing approx $60 duty + taxes to get two extra man eating plants.

I now don't have two extra man eating plants.

I have one extra man eating plant.

So yes, my exclusive isn't as exclusive. So if anyone thinks exclusivity isn't important, let me know if you'd like to switch my joker and batman regulars for your exclusives. I'd love to get a free batarang and joker portrait and I know you'll sleep much better knowing how happy I am. I'll make it easy and even pay for the shipping.
