Any ideas on when we will see what's beyond Venusaur?

Nope, nothing at all. We haven't been given a single clue or anything to go on. Bandai Japan is tough to figure out, they don't always do things you would expect (just look at the Digimon line). I would assume Pikachu isn't far behind due to his popularity, but aside from that your guess is as good as mine.

It's easy to assume Pikachu is next, but if he doesn't come with a really cool effect... am I the only one that thinks he would be the most boring of the line? :dunno

Well, as a fan of the cute little critter I'm bias, but from a general perspective.. yeah, he probably would be. I think Bandai would package him with someone else though. Much like Mew with Mewtwo, Rush & Eddie with Megaman, and though unreleased, Tai with Augumon. Pikachu would be pretty small to be in scale so I think he would come with either other Pokemon or Ash (or Red, or whoever you want to call him, lol). I think he would probably come with a cool effect though, every Pokemon so far has had one, so Pikachu should be the same.

Yeah, he would be tiny, but hopefully big enough that he would still have articulation. I would be bummed if he was around the size of Mew and static. I really think he'll be packaged with Red, it just makes the most sense. There are so many possibilities as far as how Red and Pikachu will be released, as well as the other started Pokemon's beginning stages. I don't know, maybe they won't get around to it, but I think if this continues to be as successful as it is we shouldn't have too many worries. Now they just need to sort out the problems with importing them.

:impatient:

The Plume family would be great but all we would get is Vileplume since it would be the largest of them all.

My Blastoise arrived, can't check it out for another hour when I get home from work.

Yes, I think it's very unlikely to get many of the smaller Pokemon outside of the starters (if that even happens). I'm really interested to see how Bandai handles this line in the long term, because there is so many choices to pick from. I think thinking they will jump around releasing the big hitters and possibly favorites from each generation (I bet based mostly on the cartoon). I can't see them really digging in deep and settling in for the long haul and releasing a ton any specific generation.

I know.... :monkey2

I'll take Vileplume though.

Just opened up Blastoise. He's cute :lol

He's definitely got less "mass" than the other two but he only elevates how much I love the other figures since I got him. Can't wait for Venusaur. I'll post up pics sometime this week of the 3 of the.

His Hydro Pump effect is good, they do great work with the effects parts, especially the fire parts of Charizard.

Cubone would have to be my biased hope - but more realistically a Gyrados with a little static Magikarp! Potential for a convention exclusive recolour to a red Gyrados :lol
