Wow! Glad you guys were able to pick up so many awesome figures at great prices. It's not even October yet and we are getting spooktacular 2016 deals. Congratulations to everyone
I contacted them via email on Friday afternoon their time and have not received a response. Has anyone contacted them and recently and received a response?

Are you talking about the e-mail with your order number etc on it saying that it is processing? Or something else?
I'm a bit confused, are you guys saying that the people who chose a deposit were only charged a deposit? I bought a Chewbacca and my receipt was for $69 deposit ,but it has no mention of an outstanding balance?
Why are people contacting them? Are you the same people who buy something at a store, it rings up 10% less than you thought and you ask if they made a mistake?
Exactly this. I was hoping it would slide under the radar but it seems like there are quite a few people contacting them about it.
So I tried emailing them to cancel my pre order because of the different amount that was charged on mypaypal compared to the checkout screen that they have, Wade didn't want to give me a refund saying that they don't have change of mind policy. They can return the funds in store credit but not refund me the money which is full BS. I didn't change my mind they just charged me more, had they kept the initial price then I would've kept my order.
If it's about a 10% difference, that's because Paypal and Popcultcha use different exchange rates. You were charged in AUD, which Paypal converted to USD (with a fee on their end). Popcultcha though did their own currency exchange when displaying the converted prices in USD (without Paypal's cut). It's misleading, but anything on their site not displayed in AUD should be taken with a grain of salt. Actually, the same's true anytime you buy something in a currency other than your own.
