And it seems like they've sold quite a few today. As a couple of days ago they had about 34 units. Now it's at 24.

Though the price is pretty much the same if I had preordered the figure in the first place.

I got Iron Man Mark XLVII (47) Die-Cast Spider-Man Homecoming for $424 which seemed pretty decent. I think that’s about $320ish US?

I noticed this for the first time with the Death Star Gunner, but apparently they had it on the snowtroopers too. I took advantage of it with Hoth Leia and used up some pennies for an additional $50 AUD off. Worked out almost 25% off in total - better than the usual 20% off during a sale and don't have to take the risk of waiting for the next sale after the figure arrives and potentially missing out. Also works out about $50 AUD cheaper than ordering from Sideshow using a $20 off coupon. Popcultcha are making it very hard for me to buy anything from Sideshow these days - pennies, 20% off sales, free local shipping, no foreign transaction fees to worry about (I have to use a zero fee debit card for my Sideshow purchases, but with Popcultcha I can use my regular c/card which earns points), plus no risk of the price increasing with exchange rate changes. Always seems that when I buy from Sideshow, the exchange rate drops just before the order gets charged and shipped.

Anyway, I finally pulled the trigger on HT Yoda. 20% off makes the price almost half-decent - about the same as Sideshow's current $20 off and free global shipping deal but the pennies mean I'll have enough for another $50 off my next pre-order so that was a better deal for me than $9 in Sideshow points. Been patiently waiting since July for this sale to come along. Looks like they've sold about 5 Yoda's so far today. Lots of other figures I want but I try to limit myself to one per sale.

Am I missing something because it seems like all the figures I’m looking at are priced higher than they’d be other places. Was the sale only yesterday? I have it set to US Dollars so it’s not higher because of viewing it in Australian prices.

Does Alter Ego have double reward points still? I remember a long time ago, they were only 2% rewards when Sideshow was 5%, and then last year I think, they doubled and it was 4%. Just wanted to see if anyone knew if they were still at 4%?

No, it's still 2 reward points for every $1 you spend. Also, their prices for Hot Toys are now the same as SS & BBTS (used to be @ 5% lower), so not much incentive to buy from them anymore.
