Preordered,this will be my first mixed media statue!. Went with the regular version.
No. By and large Sagat is one of the more calm characters, making him the perfect rival to Ryu. He might seem more aggressive in some Udon comics or in some of the games, but he is usually stone faced and very serious. Only exception usually being the laugh he would do as the win animation I think in Alpha.
Hell the manga got it right. If you read the SF3 manga Sagat there was almost spiritually calm. It was the coolest I had ever seen him.
It's not like it matters. These never sell out anymore. Bison, Guile, Chun Li, Cammy, etc.. those will be shelf warming for the rest of eternity. Even if they sell out on Sideshow, they just go for half the price on the after market.
I wish he had been more creative with this base. Ideally, he should have set out to make a new Alpha Ryu too and had the bases be that stage with the field and the lightning. That would have been too cool.

Jerry said the ES for the SS Ex will be around the same as Chun-Li, but not more. So, 200 or less.

Jerry just clarified on SF that he meant the total ES of Sagat would not be higher than Chun-Li, not that the SS Ex would be lower than the Chun-Li SS Ex. Sorry for the mix up and thanks! 
I might get this one. I'm building a whole cabinet dedicated to evil bastards that aren't Star Wars or Batman villains and this statue looks so good. Btw, what's the problem with the regular Bison statue? I've been looking on ebay and there are some there for rather good prices. Did it not sell well?

Seriously. I wonder what's going on with that one.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the piece was rather light in weight, but not sure anymore if that was in reference to Bison.
Problem with Bison is the edition size is too big and the biggest complaint was the choice of fabric,lets just say its the only SF PF that wasnt well recieved for the poor choice of clothing...now if it was like the Red Skull PF...it would of looked way better
