Popular Movies that You Don't Love

The original Total Recall. There's just something about it.....it just feels too "80's grossness" for my liking, but not in a fun way, if you get what I mean.

A Christmas Story.
Cabin In The Woods.
Logan.

I think the only reason I don't care for the last 2 is because I work in a movie store, and they were WAY over-hyped by everyone.
By the time I actually saw them, it was like, people lost their minds over this???

Alright, let's make it "Popular Movies You Don't Like" then.

Terminator 2 - I like it but I don't get the love that is heaped upon it.. I feel the original is better in every way and that part 2 is just a larger budgeted copy if it. I still like it but I have been in more then one debate about it here on the boards.

Godfather part 2 - Again I like it but I don;t feel its nearly as good as the original and I am surprised when its mentioned in the Sequels better then original debate. Again I really like it. I just don;t love it.

Those two are kind of cheats as I still like them. Here are a few more.

Avatar - Is that still well liked? Other then the cool 3D I never cared for it. In fact I think it pretty much sucks. I think Cameron overall is OVER-RATED. I love the Original Terminator and ALIENS so he will always have my respect. But I am not a huge fan of his overall body of work.

Thor 3 - I guess I am 1 of 7 people in the world that did not like that film.

Inception - I really have to watch this again but I just cant bring myself to do it.. I found it incredibly boring.

Star Wars Force Awaken. Hated Rey , Kylo Ren and Fin, set me back to love it .

All Marvel movies, like them but never love them. Some of them pretty junky as well such as Ironman3 and AoU.

Terminator 1. I love T2 though.

Pirate of Carribean. Just like them.

Interstellar. Anne Hathaway and Mattew mcconaughey have bad chemistry.

I'm sure most of us have had a moment or two where someone raised an eyebrow at us for not liking one or two popular/classic movies. List all of the popular movies you don't care about here. They don't necessarily have to be movies that you dislike or classic movies, just popular movies from any period in time that you don't love.

*I actually like most of the movies on my list in some form or another, just don't love them.

I respect that you don't love The Matrix. It's definitely overrated. Enjoyed it when it came out but it didn't deserve the level of praise it got.

Dark City was far superior and didn't get the love The Matrix got.

I don't know that that film has ever been "popular" though. The fact that it's sequel was a modern masterpiece and still bombed leads me to assume that more people say they like the original than actually do.

It doesn't even feel like a Disney film, the stupid Snowman and the troll things are like characters Dreamworks would leave on the cutting room floor because they are too obnoxious.

Star Wars TFA... decided to take my gf to tag along and see it as her first experience of SW universe. Bad decision, the film was horrible and so stupid in every aspects. Rey ruined everything I knew about about SW.

TFA and the rest of its current Sequel (owned by Disney) is the Karma coming back to shove is the @ss of those OT toxic old boys who constatly bashed Mr Lucas for his creation of PT.
