Regarding the uniforms, I looked around for a few hours and can't find any free patterns. I will give myself 2 more days, if I still can't find them, I will just go buy one (about $15). Anyone knows how to reduce a 1/1 printed pattern to workable size (I can adjust it to 1/6 afterward)? My scanner is only regular size. Can Kinko do that?

Also I know where to buy "really strong" magnets: https://www.unitednuclear.com/magnets.htm

You'd think there would be some free fan site with patterns somewhere!

Those are the exact magnets I had in mind. The 1/8" cubes should work well. I liberated a few from my Father's laboratory recently.

Some suggestions regarding accessories:

1) Phasers
if the small phaser can be taken out will be good, and if we are using magnets then I think adding a small piece of metal on to the small phaser can do just this (what do you think Chris?) If the magnets are installed into the phaser, and communicator, all we need to do is to glue a thin piece of metal onto the body and we don't have to drill the body.
2) Communicators
if it can flip open will be great
3) Tricorders
also if it can flip open - Barbie's tricorder can do this
4) Extra pair of "Live Long and Prosper" hands
5) That little "dicky" that McCoy uses to see if a person is in "heat" :)

I think everyone want some of these items, correct? We need to know this, don't we?

If its cool I'll send mine after the first of the year... I don't think sculpting will commence before the, but I will pay for the Kirk and Spock. I can swing it earlier if needed, but I'd prefer to lump these two into my January budget :duff

I'd love to have the appropriate accessories to go with the particular character, it would definitely complete the figures. Kirk with phaser, Spock with scientific Tricorder, and McCoy with medical Tricorder.

1) Makes sense to use metal bit..... got to source it.
2) More complex = greater cost. You guys tell me what you want to do
3) Barbie had a tricorder!?!
4) extra hand could be done if enough folks want
5) Oh my.

Hey Chris, did you get the PM I sent you from MWD?

BTW, Thanks to those who've replied my PM about Payment. I'll update the first post with these info tomorrow! Today is yet another 1:1 life busy day! :D
