looks pretty good actually, why are the lenses so light though? r1 actually like that? separation on the back is a bit fugly looking and hey look it is asymmetrical! that jaw doesn't line up on the first photo :p

So through all these years, anyone that has a super clean and shiny "inaccurate" Stormtrooper lid... you can now tell everyone instead that it is an accurate R1 Stormtrooper lid. :)

the r1 trooper lid isn't just symmetrical and smooth :p it has some actual differences as well. Also the most clean and symmetrical one has a giant seam running along the jaw :<

Not quite. The R1 ears and tube stripes and traps are different as well.
But since we've seen people use the craptacular Rubies Stormie armors, we can do anything these days LOL :lol

i am looking for a fully posable mannequin for my anovos storm trooper armor. I need to be very heavy duty and look as realistic as possible. i have done much looking online and the closet thing i could find to what i may be looking for is https://www.zingdisplay.com/DaVinci-Bendable-Male-Mannequin-p/flexmga-fslash-f.htm or https://www.zingdisplay.com/Posable-Military-Male-Mannequin-p/spostflexg.htm. i also don't want a metal post anywhere to be seen. any one have any ideas or have used anything similar. i have seen other ones that look like they buckle and i am really not wanting that either. if any one can help it would be much appreciated

Just got my ANOVOS Shadow Trooper in the mail. Looks pretty decent. They took some liberties with some of the parts but as a whole it looks close to being screen accurate to the ANH troopers.

It also has grooves instead of shoddily painted lines

Sorry fellas, I didn't mean what I said sincerely. It was just a bad joke on my part. :lol :peace

Single-handedly my greatest moment ever, as far as my SW fandom goes. Such an adventure to get this photo taken with Mark and it was all worth it.

What a great photo! We need to hear the story behind it. Mark Hamill is awesome. Every time I've had the pleasure of meeting him, he's always been a joy.

Check out what I got :yess:
A real Archer Torch! It's metal, & it works! There's actually Butane & Micronox in the tanks still. I haven't had the guts to actually light it though.

Now I need to track down a full size R2-D2 :)

Almost finished building my DarkAgent TIE Fighter pilot helmet. Still a few bits to tidy up and the decals to apply, I'm looking forward to getting it finished and on display.

Here it is with my ATA Stormtrooper helmet and Rubies Darth Vader helmet (very much WIP, eyes are roughly trimmed and FP lenses in place with blu-tac to check fit).
