My newest piece arrived today. It's a fan made Jawa blasterEven though it's all resin, I LOVE IT!!!

I actually found a real British Engfield at one of my local gun stores, but I wouldn't have the heart to cut one of those beauties up. Even though I'd LOVE a live firing Jawa blaster. It's a beautiful gun, & the wood grain on many of them is a work of art. One of my stores a few moths back also had a German Mauser C96 Broomhandle pistol. I'd love one of those too. But it was $1,800! I wouldn't have the heart to cut one of those up either.
Anyway, I'm more than happy with my Jawa blaster being resin.

Beautiful & ugly? I'd say it's beaugly. But really it's gorgeous!
I'm still waiting on RS to finish my Biker Scout, but I'd llloooovvvee one of their Stormie lids. I came so close to ordering their signed Sandtrooper helmet. But as I have yet to receive the Scout yet (& now feeling "order timid" thanks to eFX & ANOVOS), I opted to pass. I'll kick myself soon.

What wave are you in for the Scout lid? Did you get it clean or weathered?

I'm in wave 2. Initially I ordered mine clean, but after seeing how amazing the one Jkno's turned out I changed mine to weathered. I have the eFX Legend on order as well, & so originally I was going to have one clean & one weathered. But who knows when eFX will ever ship theirs out, & I think the RS weathering will look better.... I hope, as I've not received theirs either.

So many people only look in the licensed direction and they miss so much.The thing with the EFX Legend is that it will have the full padded interior which detracts from the accuracy. It might be ok for Vader, but not for Scout. The same with the assembly, the RS is assembled like the screen used, in two halves (even LoneWolf did that), but don't think EFX Scout will be like that. Good choice to get a RS Scout, in the end I think it will be the true Legend.

It's funny, I ordered the RS thinking it'd get here faster, & would "hold me over" till the eFX arrived. Instead, I just piled it onto the "insane waiting" pile along with eFX & ANOVOS
. But, I agree, I think the RS will be the true Legend........ when it gets here.

Wave 3 and I was so lucky to even get on that list. RS has been very good communicating with me on status updates too.

RS have their own issues with communication regarding RS helmet, people were not happy back then. More recently when I sent back my first helmet, which was damaged, for replacement with the beautiful one in post #2063, RS promised they will refund me the international shipping cost I paid to send the damaged helmet their way. Nothing. Then Rob promised to send some "goodies" instead of refund 2 weeks after I received the Scout helmet. Again nothing.

I haven't seen an update from them in a good while now. When I asked to change my helmet to weathered, I also asked if there was an update. The response I got was, "We'll change your helmet to weathered. Rob is currently working on Wave 2 helmets." That was at the end of August.
My race of who will be shipping me an ordered product is won by ANOVOS (my Droid Caller will be her Tuesday). But the REAL race, of who will send me an ordered helmet first, is still ongoing!
