Thanks Jay. I'm really happy how this turned out, much closer to the screen used one already. Not sure if eFX will manage to make one though. There were only 2 AT-AT helmets made for ESB from 2 TIE Pilot helmets painted gray - even if we see them white on screen according to StarWarsHelmets site it seems the AT-AT helemts were in fact light gray and not white. One of these helmets was stolen years ago and nothing is known about it and only one remains in private hands and incomplete.

The difference that is important in an AT-AT Driver helmet compared to other Star Wars helmets, is in the greeblies, those small extra things attached to it. It is not known what all of them really are, thus not sure if eFX can make one in the Legend line - but they can do it in the Limited edition line.

I'm curious though what color would like the fans to have one? Anyway until eFX makes one (if they will ever make one) there are some unlicensed creators like FarAwayCreations (aka MonCal), Dark Agent or LAWS who make the AT-AT Driver helmet and armor (and others) and they look awesome.

I can't see how thats right I can buy it locally for that price
my 1:1 endoskull was $90 to ship the vader would have to be lighter though a bigger box

I got a FedEx quote of 761 Euros shipping for Vader helmet, so I guess it is right. And add the rest of the taxes, customs charges (where they tax the shipping cost as well, thus a tax on a tax), VAT 24% and the helmet would cost over $2000...

mmm don't know what to do with this then, can we get them to send cheaper options or I may have to take a $300 hit and buy it locally, even after loosing the deposit it will be $500 cheaper to get it local....
the wifes gonna spank me for this one

Are you getting the Vader helmet from them or another one? eFX said the Vader helmet can be shiped only with FedEx, thus the huge cost. But other helmets like X-Wing pilots are way cheaper when shipped.

I got my Vader helmet FedEx quote from FedEx USA site calculator, from FedEx USA employee who answered to my email and from a FedEx Romania employee I talked by phone and email. They all came with very similar results the difference being only about $40 or so above or less than 761 Euros

Yeah just the Vader, I don't understand where that price comes from as I the stuff SSC sends is through Fedex including the Endo which cost $90 shippping & thats when our dollar was at 65c US now it's $1.07 guess I'll cancel & get it local.......ouch! I'll see what EFX says

FedEx are simply greedy and overpriced. They were also responsible for damaging my first 1:6 SS Vader figure so I "trust" them a lot. SS might have a contract of some sort with them thus the lower prices or whatever. That is what Bryan told us the international customers trying to get a hold of the Vader Legend...

Good luck with EFX. I've called, left messages and emailed them numerous times over the past 2 weeks regarding my ANH Luke helmet that I have on order and have gotten no response.
Worst customer service from a high end collectible company ever!

Mate im still waiting on answers i asked about 12 months ago. If you have looked thru any efx thread you will realise that it is hopeless to send them emails. I ended up buying the vader LE thru casefresh (about 12 months ago and still waiting) with free postage but helmet is around $900.

Yeah I know I should have ordered Casefresh but stupid be was in a rush too secure one, I might cancel a couple of preorders to cover the lost deposit & go casefresh they've always looked after me in the past..
Probably make this my last EFX item, customer service is more important than ever in a declining economy

Would you be able to sit that Vader inside the detolf without the stand or would it still be too big to fit on a single shelf?

I don't. I'm not a Vader collector. I'm going to have the eFX Vader helmet when arrives and that will be more than enough Vader for me.

I think the ANH Vader will be to big to go in the detolf with or without the stand, the ROTS helmet is smaller I think & it has 1/2 a centimeter front & back

Thanks, I'm seriously considering getting a ROTS helmet to go with the upcoming ANH one just to have the "first and last" helmets. It sucks there's not that many pics of it in here.
