Freaked Out
Overall I'm warming up to it... I wish there was more contrast in the frown strip that is eyes too... just so we see more depth.
It needs to be weathered up too!
Awesome stuff Scott. Love the TM Vader I will be posting pics later of my recently acquired SL ANH Vader... a personal grail of mine. Love the Derwent too bro...
Thanks! And congrats on the SL... nice! My SL is off being finished right now... I will have them together soon. But naturally cannot share details pics. Just general ones. As you know. ^_^

The Stormie one looks like a motorcycle helmet...
in another shot I've seen the lenses are still the original shape and the tear drop etc appears to be just sculpted and painted details, overall I like it with just the lack of ear bumps annoying me, hopefully the helmet will maintain the same proportions to the body armour as the OT as well to avoid pin head syndrome. Hopefully troops stay helmeted 100% of the time like the OT too
Looks great! Love the stand too.
What T track is that? Man I tell you, the Gino T Track was a mega PITA to bend and get into the holes.

Thank you. The stand is full metal, very solid and sturdy, with foam protectors on the blaster holders, and it was made by my talented friend Matt Black who also made the Yoda lamps.
That is Gino T-track, I have 2 sets. These ones were already installed when I got my blaster, but I have a second set professionally bent by PWC (see pics below), the same guy who made the E-11 cylinders we use. He did a fantastic job at bending them, even better than Vos who initially added the first ones present to this day on my blaster. Maybe some day I should replace the old Gino t-tracks with new Gino ones.
A few more pics of the E-11 blaster:
I really hope troopers in the Sequel Trilogy to be 100% helmeted as well

It's a cast from one of the earliest molds of the original screen used ANH Vader helmet. So second Gen direct from the real deal. The lineage is pretty cool, and the details on the cast are pretty amazing. There are a few of these types of casts, and this one has some of the best geometry. All of these uber casts have slight variances, as they were taken from the moulds at different times, etc.
This particular one, is only purchased by approval and you sign a sort of NDA agreement, saying you will not post high res pics of it etc. to keep the details out of recaster's hands. So you have to first get approval to buy it, then pay to have it cast. It's one of those that only super vader or accuracy nuts will be crazy enough to try to get.
very nice! Yeah I have a second set of Gin Track for a second attempt... it sucks... the Marv Track is MUCH easier to work with, but not correct.
Heh. That seems like more hoops to jump through than if you were to buy one of the actual, original helmets used in the damn films. In that case i think I'd understand. For a copy, no matter how good, or how direct... crazy sounds like an apt description.
Smells of either high levels of pretentiousness, fear of hoarded information getting out in the open, or both.
