The talent on the RPF is amazing and I appreciate the heck out of it. But for me personally, the replica for me doesn't have to be 100% accurate.

I wasn't necessarily talking about accuracy. But about prices as well. I got many items from RPF at better prices than ebay, Rebelscum, SSF or other places. Not to mention they were indeed more accurate and better made - I don't even visit SSF marketplace, but I take a look at RPF's Junkyard and projects each day. But to each his own. :)

Final setup of my Model Gun Corporation ROTJ E-11 Stormtrooper blaster - special thanks to Matt for the cool metal stand, and to everyone else who helped me get this awesome piece in the first place, or the greeblies for it: :)

Got the target voice changer Kylo Ren helmet. It's ok. Not worth $80.00 and the voice changer is terrible.

Not bad for $80. I would like to see someone do an in-hand comparison between this and the Anovos offering. I know it isn't a fair comparison. We're talking about a $700 helmet versus an $80 helmet. But I want to see the differences in accuracy.

By the way, are you watching Sleeping Beauty? :lol

Nice blaster display Serg! Gotta get me one some day, your pics are tempting.

Super nice piece. Congrats!

Thanks guys. :duff It was a long journey from the moment I decided to try getting a MGC and till I finally got it - it took about 3-4 years (1 full year of active searches everywhere). All these years I've seen just about 3 or 4 for sale (only 1 converted) before I was lucky and someone on RPF posted this. The seller was from US and thought it would be impossible to get in in EU, but with the help of a friend my search was finally ended and the blaster arrived fine and sound, and all legal. I was so glad to find it was one of the best conversions too, a new MGC Sterling with the best available greeblies professionally converted by a talented RPF member.

Now my E-11 Stormtrooper blaster collection is complete: ANH - MR and Sterling, ESB - Pugman, ROTJ - MGC and... Pugman again (yeah, the resin Pugman was in both ESB and ROTJ) :). The funny thing is many collectible companies like Attakus or Gentle Giant use ROTJ E-11 blasters on their ANH Stormie busts or statues. You can easily recognize this because of the scope - simple put: on ROTJ E-11 you have a middle support for the blaster scope, on ANH (and ESB) you have scopes with 2 supports. Thus the Hot Toys, Sideshow (1/6 & 1/4), Marmit or Medi Stormie figures have ANH E-11, but GG Stormie mini-bust and statue or Attakus statues (1/5, 1/10 or metal) use ROTJ blasters.

The screen used MGC's converted as ROTJ Stormtrooper blasters:

I would like to see that comparison too. I just can't see myself paying that much for a helmet when someone will make a hand made one for less.

LOL! Not sleeping beauty but Once Upon A Time tv show. It has Aurora and pretty much all the Disney fairy tale characters. Good show. Rewatching the series on Netflix with my 12 year old daughter. Wouldn't let her watch it till now. Some parts are a bit brutal for youngins.

Quite a few complains for the ANOVOS $250 First Order helmet on YouTube :(

Ah yeah.. I know the show, but don't watch it. My friends who do watch it say it's bizarre but they enjoy it and can't stop watching. :)

It's actually pretty amazing. Evil queen casts a spell with the help of Rumplestiltskin to send all fairy tale characters to our world in a town where no one remembers who they were and time stands still. Only the savior can break the curse.

Just refinished my Black Series Kylo Ren helmet. For a total cost of $80 shipped, I can live without the Anovos. Haha. If you're willing to put in the work, these turn out great.

dmpsk8,

That looks great. If you don't mind, what did you do to the mask? I was looking at one today but decided not to get it.

Quite a bit actually. The helmet is a really good base, but definitely needs some work.

I Plastic welded the seams together, replaced the visor, cut in in some detail, filled in the speaker holes in the forehead, took out the crappy electronics, upgraded the nose piece, and repainted everything but the chrome.
