I really look forward to seeing your updates on this guy man. So then wolf is next right? :)

I would love to see an accurate Wolf body paint-up...
Yes, I will have a go at Wolfie next... the question is, will he be accurate if I use a beefy Beserker body? He was thinner in the movie than other preds, but the HT one always looked strange to me. He was my sons' favourite movie pred, but he never liked the gangly look of HTs take on it. And before anyone takes offense to me giving a bit of critique to Hot Toys, there were many outstanding qualities to their Wolf predator, and when they revisited it and did the cleaner version the new accessories were fabulous. It was gangly though, you must admit.

I like the skinny Wolf body, it fits him. I don't really care too much about it though for the figure, mostly the paint..I love looking at his beautiful body paint.

Do you think you could slim down the new body for him? I know you're good at sculpting and stuff..

I'm with you, there. Maybe getting another Shadow or Classic body and thinning it out would be a good idea. Berserker may have worked for a normally-built Predator, but the slim Wolf needs a less-buff starting point.

I thought that might be a problem when I did the Elder, but having the armour fit closely and extending the legs by about 2-3mm seemed to make him appear slimmer.
I may get away with thinning away the waist and shoulders a bit... he also has very little armour and I may get him looking slimmer by having very thin gauntlets and leggings, keeping the ankle and wrists slim seems to slim down the whole figure. Either that or put him on the Atkins diet!
Also, does anyone know if there are limitations with the classic body... he has an LED in the left gauntlet, so is that removable? It may be a useful thing to have for customs... a light up bomb countdown....
Dizzy

I've heard the wrist computer on the new classic predator is not removable. It's posted in the classic thread. It kind of sucks for me since I want an extra classic body for my avp custom from last years game.

Well, you may be able to cut and sand it, leaving the electrics behind for lighting up the countdown. The AVP one could be cut in half at the underside of the housing and a hole drilled in it to pop the LED bulb through. It is do-able.

Yeah, Wolf needs to be slightly thinner. He has looked after himself for many years to keep his body looking that way.:D

I see your point, but the problem lies in that the left gauntlet has both the computer and blades.

I was sure the left did not have blades.
Anyhoo, a little update, I have fitted the front groin plate, and added the top strap across his waist that the right side bag attaches to. I extended the groin plate as it was too narrow at the top.

That new codpiece looks excellent! Has that weathered, screen-used prop vibe to it. So very cool! :rock

Wow, Dizzyarse I love how you painted the body but there should be a little more orange between the brown and the white skin tones. Still I can't believe that you painted him like this with a brush thats just superb. Exellent job!
