I just received two 1/4 scale NECA Predator 2 figures. Only cost me $20 each. They look really cool for the price. TRU was having an online clearance sale so I snagged two before they changed the price back to retail.

They are great for a figure, I had a bunch of them at one time before I converted to almost all statues and props. I like their P2 one better than the Maquette.

Yes they have they used a hot toys for the front and the cinemaquette for the back of the Hunter Edition too but at least it's the right Predator lol

Still bumped that this turned out to be so expensive. I had really wanted it but sadly it is so far our of my price range there wasn't much to consider. Can't wait to see some in hand pics though.

From other retailers, SS may drop the price, but they will be stubborn and it won't be much.

Even if it comes out exactly like the proto which it won't, I don't see these commanding full retail, at least until well past the time they sell out which may be years.

It's quite a high ES for a $1200 quarter scale Predator, I suspect we will see this stay in stock for quite some time, if not discounted.

I am going to buy this, but I am waiting for it to be released to see how the paint apps come out and I am 100% sure I will get it discounted. This wasn't a critical preorder item unless you wanted the EX.

Agreed. For anyone that hasn't already PO'ed, I would suggest to wait until the in-hand pics start popping up. I'm guessing the regular isn't going to sell out anytime soon.

Well I hope for all those who ordered that this Is amazing. I am a huge Predator 2 fan so who knows. If it is in stock for a while and they discount it I may try and go for it.

Really? The bio, along with the head in general actually is my biggest disappointment on this one. other aspects have grown on me however. The bio is the wrong shape, wrong colour (dull), wrong texture (too much) etc etc, it just doesn't look or feel like the P2 bio imo, hero or stunt. If they had been given the opportunity to revisit the head to fix the mask and dreads at least, this would be way up there on the list of best predator collectibles. I'm sure it will be good no doubt and I'm looking forward to having it in front of me, it just could have been incredible.

Oh man...that looks very bad.For this high price the mask is a joke.It could be ok for "normal people"..but a real fan can see the mistakes with the first look.
The matt paint is not the biggest problem..the hero was matt,too under normal daylight.But the complete mask was not brown..it was copper/gold with matt dark bronze and redbrown paint over it.
The pic that you´ve posted is from the workshop...so it could be that they have put more matt stuff on the top of the mask after taken this pic.But you can see the matt stuff at the moutharea,tor it looks only more glossy about the lights.Reflections of metallic paint can show something glossy while its matt or semigloss.Look at the Vader Reveal from ROTJ..on some pics it looks matt,on some semigloss and on some very glossy.
