I'm not going to lie, I say this with trepidation: my waitlist has converted.

At this point I think I am going to let it process as I have been wanting a Predator maquette for awhile. MUCH to my dismay, I had to cancel my Wolf Predator order when it was available, and my Predator desire has not waned in the least. And since there are no confirmed maquette options for the near future, I'm going to take the risk. So my fingers are crossed that Monk performed QC on the one that will eventually head my way.

My replacement parts turned up yesterday.

• The replacement unmasked head is EXACTLY the same as the original one I got - huge gap at the top.
• The replacement spear arrived with a bent tip (like Col's), which I straightened, but now THAT is exactly the same as the original one I got - the shafts exit the hand/casing at different angles.
• The replacement EX disc hand is the one thing that IS OK - no varnish/glue all over THIS one.

So all that effort to get 1 thing improved

Oh yeah, I missed the bit where you said bought locally, have him return it to them for a replacement, it isn't sideshows responsibility in that instance.

they told the dealer no replacements were available and offered $140 credit. My friend returned it instead. I will post some pics in a bit.
