What the fawk has Predator got to do with Halloween anyway? Seems to be a trend set by Sideshow cos for some reason my Iron Man Legendary Scale Bust seems to be linked with Father Christmas as its ben delayed again to december!!

As time goes by I've climbed back "on the fence" with this one.
I like it, but I'm thinking I'll keep my predator collectibles limited to classic P1 Pred (too bad I'll never have the dough for a cinemaquette or maquette)...I have to draw the line somewhere, and I need to save room for the upcoming grey hulk!

You guys that think this will be under $799 (at the very least) are kidding yourselves. SS know that Preds sell well and that they are extremely popular. If the new Conan sells for what's it's selling, you can expect this to be much much higher.

Does anyone really have any clue when this might go up for preorder? Our is everyone just taking shots in the dark like with the price?
By the way I'm guessing it sells for $899-$999.

And so we just keep checking the news letter for when that's going to be? If it's not going to be for a while I might want to flex Sauron. The problem is because I probably have to choose between the two I think I should wait and get this guy.

Check Sideshow every Thursday for new releases. If you're like us you'll be refreshing far more often than is healthy and then you'll eventually be disappointed when a 1:6 doll appears
I've been tempted with Sauron instead also, If some of the silly prices people on here are guessing come to light for the P2, he will represent much greater value and he is much larger also.

Thanks for the tips Python. I think your right and I should just hold out for the P2. I missed out on the P1 Maquette and now I get depressed every time I see it selling for thousands because I know I’ll never be able to afford one. I hope this one turns out to be the next best thing so can finally have a quality Predator in my collection. I only have the 1/5 P1 EX statute at the moment.

I would love a 1:4 original Predator. My 1:3 CM won't display well with this...

Me neither really, I tend to buy for characters I like rather than films etc though. P2 was Hardly a great film in most peoples eyes Also, with regards to Sauron being less detailed, I'm not so sure, he has a heck of a lot of detail if you look closely. aside from the head, most of the p2's detail is paint work and that won't be great anyway unless a miracle occurs. Plus he is about 45% bigger than the P2 maquette if our math is correct, that is huge...

I agree it sucks but I really don't see this selling for less the $999 with today’s prices. Especially since Sauron is going for $899 and he does look like less work to make.
