This was my most expensive purchase, until yesterday :slap
I've decided less is more but the less needs to be bigger :lol

Regarding size, this is the best indicator of how huge he is...

I wonder whether CP will follow the same design format for their own P1 Bust? You'd think they'd want to make a design distinction from what Sideshow did. Obviously, they designed their P2 bust to match Sideshow's, but, if you look at their own base choices for the Aliens, it does makes me wonder. Personally, i'd rather see their P1 Bust be a little less unruly in size, but i'm also sure I'm in the minority there!

Size wise . No I think its perfect. After all its a lifesize bust.
The best scale for a bust I think.

As others have said about a new design, a P1 with a closed jaw would be distinctive enough. A nice variation for cool props to produce.

Most of my eBay sales are cash on collection or direct through PayPal.

Still gotta pay fees plus in the US at least 95% of buyers would be hundreds or thousands of miles away so no pickups possible and Paypal is no guarantee. I love cash and carry sales, but it almost never happens here.

. . .and with your very FIRST post :clap

1) Welcome to the site!
2) Congrats on the order.

Are you new to collecting too? (if this was your 1st collectible it'd be an AWESOME way to start!)

Ian/Spike.

No :) I have some nice ones already, P1 CM, P2 SS...
He comes next to the SS Berserker, which I personally like.

Agree; I'd like to see the skeptical look he gives following his discovery of Dutchs trap. Life size of course, I meant maybe not include the shoulders..

Yep. The predator's face during that "DO EHT KILL ME NAO" scene is one of my favorite things in any film. So lifelike, realistic, and almost menacing. I need a bust of that...a good one.

Agreed. As classic as the roaring pose is, it makes the predator look like any other vicious movie monster. However, the appraising look the predator gives Dutch after discovering his trap really shows the predator's intelligence. You can almost hear it thinking, "You set a trap for me, eh? Clever, but not clever enough."

I'm not sure he ever looks like a generic movie creature, it's a genius design imo, only equaled by Gigers original Alien. I do however agree that I'd love to see some character injected into the 1:1 P1 bust via some clever facial expressions. The Sideshow LSB did this very well actually..

I didn't mean that the predator looks generic in a roaring pose -the predator design is unmistakably unique- but that such a pose makes it look like some mindless snarling animal-creature, which many movie monsters are. And you're right, the facial expression on the SS P1 LSB is terrific.
