Not to put a damper on everyone's hopes, but I'm pretty sure in the Batman ex thread that Alex clarified that August isn't set in stone for these exclusives, either. It could be anywhere from after SDCC ends, to up into November.

I'd just hate for August 31st to come and go and this still isn't up, and everyone be on here wondering what the heck happened.

Looks like that scum bag secured a lot more than we'd anticipated on here. Hopefully SSC does get a normal allotment of both of the exclusives, and that d-bag ends up in a huge financial hole over his little fiasco.

Just everyone somewhat new to this, have patience and wait for SSC to get their allotment in and up for PO, for both this and the Batman ex. Don't cave in and pay scalper prices and help vultures like him out. Or the vultures circling this board, for that matter.

yah looks like he got about 40 Shadows and 40 Bruce Waynes at least. I didn't try to count so thats just a rough estimate based on the quick look at the pictures...

I'm thinking he got upwards into the 100s between both of them. For real though, he's no worse than politicians or oil co execs. Just with him, everyone can put just one face to his charades. The other two, you could kick 300 rear ends and still not put a dent in the people who are screwing you daily.

Wow I just watched the actual news report. Its not just that one pony-tailed dude. Theres 3 parties of major scalpers. 1 guy hired 148 minions, the other hired "100+" and the amount of minions hired by the "3rd guy" wasn't reported. Crazy...thats at least 300 of the 600 sets gone. No wonder this caused a riot from the actual fans like us. I second the comment made by one of us earlier...we really have it easy in the States.

If you read down into the post it says that there's speculation that that main dude (with the ponytail) was in cahoots with the guy who started the semi-riot over the Guardian at last year's event.

Those people are CRAZY about these over there. We can call ourselves "hardcore" all we want, but we don't hold a candlestick to some of those whack-jobs!

Unfortunately, many collectors are indirectly encouraging these scalpers by buying the same items at astronomical prices in eBay despite knowing that Sideshow and other retailers will have these same items at retail prices at later dates.

Classic case of demand vs supply. Who can we blame?

Like some of the know-it-all boneheads who buy just to flip/scalp figures "it's all about supply and demand". Yes, when the majority of the supply is bought up by scalpers, and they demand 3x what it's worth, then it's either pay the prices or you're SOL. And there's enough people with more money than brains to keep jag-offs like that in going.

it's easier to flip toys from your parent's basement than it is to be worth a damn. having an education and a career isn't for everybody. but the real problem is the two-faced collectors who decry scalpers and then buy stuff from them. if there wasn't a market for this kind of thing, it wouldn't exist. don't give your money to low-life parasites and the problem goes away. and it's not just ebay, there's plenty of them on here too. i've had a seller blacklist going since i got here.

I'm going to hopefully get this and Batman via Sideshow or wait for ebay to be flooded with them. I'm in no rush to piss away my money (yet) on over paying for it on ebay.

With no exact numbers being released from this (correct me if there are), I'm sure there are plenty to go around.

The new body have been reesculpted,(and share the same kind of joints with superpredators) but HT could have made classic and shadow pred shorter for more accuracy... but the problem is'nt this new body, the real problem is that the superpredator's body is damn too short (even more than the AvP preds)


HT failed with the correct scale from the beginning
