Then again, I seem to recall more people posting about confirming their orders in the Guardian thread. Were there less customers this time around for Shadow? Might've been.

well have sse classic predator and shadow predator ordered.
If this was going to be a regular release, then why not just say so from the get go? No way this was a limited release, especially the Batman.
to be fair, if you've sunken to the point in your life where flipping toys seems like a viable option, getting a job is probably not in the cards for you. what are you gonna do, put it in your theladders.com resume? being worth a damn isn't for everybody. In the end, is it really worth going through all that in hopes of maybe making $100 on a good day? Why not just get a job?
I really don't understand scalping. You buy a $230 figure plus, say another $20 or more for shipping. After that, you have to go through the process of listing it on eBay which costs about $5. Even on a good day, you likely won't get more than $400 out of it, and on top of that you have to pay another 10% of what you make to eBay. Also another $5 to buy a box to ship it.
So 400 - 220 - 20 - 5 - 40 - 5 = 100

That's fair, I suppose. I just assumed that it was people flipping a few so I didn't see it being really worthwhile having to wait till another exclusive is announced to flip. Now that I know that scalpers are buying them in bulk I can definitely see why they're doing it.On the subject of flipping, while it might seem like a lot of hassle for an extra 100 bucks or whatever it can be more value/risk for an international collector.
If a figure costs 230 dollars, thats what you have to pay regardless if the dollar is weak or strong.
Being an internatinal collector myself, the state of the dollar gretatly affects the amount I collect.
Potentially,I could buy hot toys figures when the dollar is weak, then resell them AT RETAIL when the dollar is strong and still make a profit.
Of course there is equal risk aswell
