Dayum. That looks siiiick. Wonder why HT didn't just stick THAT to the Classic's base. The current skull looks redundant and totally weird. If they wanted it to be a Dino skull, they sure got the features wrong.

Even looks too simple for an alien. :lol

And does anyone know how to clean up (remove the blood paint) a human Skull and spine with out messing up the plastic?

You could just paint one. Spray one color, then give it a couple different washes.

EDIT: didn't think about the gloss coat... I think you at least need to remove that.

Why doesn't Hot Toys just come out with a diorama set of all the skulls on a Display wall?
because it would be huge and very expensive.

yeah it's definitely a mammalian skull. i'm guessing it was in that predator camp somewhere. unless they pulled it out of their ass, which is just as likely.

How much was the Gort Predator exclusive?

Edit: Answered my own question. The Guardian Predator listed for $189 on Sideshow, was actually limited edition, and was available for a very short time in July of last year. So in twelve months Hot Toys/Sideshow have increased their price by $36, despite that they're seemingly now making thousands instead of hundreds of this year's "exclusive" Predator. That's not very cool.

Re: How much was the Gort Predator exclusive?

Out of curiosity, does anyone happen to remember what the Gort Predator exclusive retailed for on Sideshow's site when it originally went up for PPO? Thanks.
$189.99 plus shipping, so $203.10 for me.

i didn't remember that, it's on my SSC account page.

Thanks prefused, answered my own question and edited my post above :)

I guess we can expect next year's "exclusive" Predator to cost $260?

it was "available" for a while. not just the ppo. there were people on here still getting waitlists converted earlier this year. i think there were plenty of them made and SSC totally screwed up the preorder process. everyone who got on the waitlist got one.

Who knows, maybe the skull diorama will be a con exclusive at some point.

Hot Toys does surprise us every now and then and they do on ocassion have the diorama pieces like the T-800 assembly factory and the IM2 gantry.

Elder didn't come with a skull. The ones that do are,
Battle Damage P2 (I have the undamaged version)
Lost
Gort
Shadow
, and at least four come with the bloody Human Skull and spine. I'm not sure if any come with clean ones. Who'll that big monster of a skull will come with will be a big surprise to me. If you're only interested in the skulls I've seen them on EBay.

As for actual Predators skulls, Mariko has a partial Predator skull as part of her base. Falconer comes with a classic Predator Skull and the "New" HT Sideshow Exclusive Classic Predator from Predators comes with a Super Predator Skull.

And by the way, I am very interested in getting an authentic BD P2 Alien Skull; at a descent price.
I forgot Elder didnt come with one but still would be better to have the whole gang with the displayed skulls in the back. If only I new about these when they first hit.
Does make me wonder who will come with the big skull

neither of those are as big as the trophy wall. not even close. the only way i can see the wall happening is if they release it in sections.

As much of a Predator fan I am, I cancelled my Shadow pre-order and decided to go with HT's much more affordable Spider-Man instead. I think displaying one lost predator by himself would look a kind of strange anyway.

I'm already forseeing ebay flooded with Shadow Predators lowering their prices desperately to be sold. And then I'll pick mine... :D

depends on your severity of collecting OCD. it would drive me crazy.

It's definitely a slippery slope with me. So far, the only predator I own is Berserker who looks fine by himself. I'm tempted to get Falconer, but then there's no way I can't get Tracker as well.

With the lost preds, Shadow would've been my first and only. It's unlikely for me to collect the rest because I refuse to buy Lost unless he's dirt cheap cause I find him ugly as sin. At the very least I'd have to get P2, but I don't want to shell out $400 to get one.

Luckily for me I'm not really a completist or I'd probably be starving or homeless. My toy collection is pretty much all over the place. But if someone comes to my house and sees my slowly growing predator collection, all they're going to see is a bunch of different preds. I got Shadow because I knew if I didn't I'd regret it later on. I just think he's a cool figure. I didn't get it to complete a collection of any kind.

I own Berserker and have a Tracker on the way. I would like Falconer tho.....Uh oh. Is this how it starts?
