Predators - 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure

So far the paint work looks like it took a big step down from the proto... kind of has the same translucent/plastic look as the original P1 figure.

Hoping its just a bad picture issue, but not digging this as much as I hoped.

Right. I thought it meant one of those early release things that they told us about.

That's exactly what we're seeing pics of. This hasn't been released officially (ie not released in toyhunters HK) which would be the beginning of the retailer chain...

True, but Hot Toys themselves haven't actually announced anything so far. Anyways, figure doesn't seem like a home run, but he's definitely a keeper. For me, anyway.

Looks fantastic from the neck down and masked, but that face and head are disappointing in both sculpt and paint apps. Not a great P1/Classic likeness. Too many great Predator pieces have been made and will be made to settle for something that does not wow you. Think I will wait for their next attemp. Bummed

Ah man... what happened to the paint job??? It has that same huge gap that the original HTs predator had.

I cancelled the order or by a piece and seeing the final product are glad I saved money


Hot Toys has not learned from "deceptive" advertising of berserker proto?
now no longer trust what they see to attract the preorder
because the model is done saving released.


the head is the same as the shadow and the Mandibles is horrible
Hot Toys missed opportunity.

So is this a little relief for all the original P1 owners who were upset about the new Predators release?

I get it anyways, just too cool with the arm computer, the accessories and with mask on i won't bother on the head paintjob. Most of my predators i display with mask on in general.

Mesh on the visor part of the mask looks fine I think, found this photo on the net:

That pic only goes to show that the scale of the mesh is completely wrong on the HTs figure. Seeing how the mesh is very fine on the actual suit, it wouldve made more sense to not have any mesh at all on the figures bio IMO.
Im not too fussed about it to be honest though. The figure still looks very impressive overall.
