You think HT cares about mesh accuracy?

Obviously not, but WHY dont they? It only takes a second to realise that the mesh is out of scale. It shouldnt be any harder/more expensive for HTs to make the mesh a more accurate scale. They should take a bit more care with their products. Theyre professionals after all.

Do'nt like the actual paint apps too much... the headsculpt painting looks very Toyish compared with the proto figure and the ones showed in fairs

That's the feeling I got..it looks like an upgraded toyish P1 fig.

I don't understand why they painted the bottom part of the head white..wtf? Why couldn't they just use different shades of the colors on the top of the head like the proto? Maybe it took less effort to keep it a whiteish color?

The paint is tehtime better than what you would expect a couple of years ago.
I don't see any sense in waiting of the exact copy of the professional complex multi-layer paitjob on factory products.

Also these complaints looks especially funny at the background of absolute indifference to the authenticity of the ptoro and actual products.

So is this a little relief for all the original P1 owners who were upset about the new Predators release?

I get it anyways, just too cool with the arm computer, the accessories and with mask on i won't bother on the head paintjob. Most of my predators i display with mask on in general.

Mesh on the visor part of the mask looks fine I think, found this photo on the net:

You nailed It I actually am a little bit relieved because I own a P1. I felt ambivalent toward this classic predator the moment its proto pics were released. Mainly b/c my p1 dropped in value by 50% immediatley after those proto pics surfaced. Most collectors bought into the hype and in a panic rushed to sell their original p1s causing a rapid depreciation. That kind of pissed me off. So I guess I mite have actually wanted this classic predator to turn out ____ty, and possibly bring the p1s value back up a little bit closer to what I paid for it. With that said I own 9 HT preds and I love all them, so apart of me (Most of me) really did want this classic pred to turn out just as amazing as it appeared in the proto pics, Hot Toys really did make it look like a game changer in those proto pics. So I'm relieved and dissappointed too I guess.

You need to actually buy one of these products so you know what you are talking about rather than just going into Hot Toy threads while sat with the Neca 1:4 Pred and trolling.

damn, not looking good at all proto looked so good and I was planning to pose him open mouthed next to berserker. The eyes and head pattern look like they are painted by a toddler. I 'm not so sure if i will keep this in order. Shame on you HT!

This was gonna be my first Pred. I may cancel now. That thing looks like a toy not a $200 collectible, Sorry, but it's true. I'm not judging the photographs I'm judging the paint app and sculpt.

Looks sick, cant wait to get it. Closed mouth is how i'll have him. Never understood why anyone would pose any pred with an open mandible unless the body was posed to reflect the screaming mouth. Hell, i've seen people with the beserker pred stood upright with an open mandible...lmao, looks retarded as hell.
