It seems like the pace at which Hot Toys is improving at making prototypes is far outpacing any improvements in production. So the disparity between the two just seems to be getting greater.
They did a fantastic job on the Shadow Predator, i don't see how they could mess this up.
Not true whatsoever.exactly.
because if you gave a damn about predators, you would never use that word for them![]()
I feel much more pity for those of you who are too insecure to except anything outside of the movies.

Considering the fact that I have grown up with the Predator and Alien since under a year old and have always loved the creatures, the atmosphere they bring..everything about them.

And Butters, gtfo you annoying troll.

I've been doing some thinking lately and realized something. To you purists out there (and you know who you are), what exactly do you collect from the Predator movies? How often do you buy a Predator piece? The NECA stuff is accurate, but the paint apps and overall QC are problematic; the HT stuff is inaccurate, but the paint apps and overall QC are miles ahead. Where does that leave you if you're in the mood for a figure representation?
If you bash every single figure that comes out and mock those who buy them, who are you to accuse others of not giving a damn about the character when you refuse to take part almost at all? The perfect figure will probably never become a reality and patience will eventually wear thin, so you might as well accept the situation based on the past experience you so-elitistly cherish, or back out of Predator entirely since you'll never be satisfied.
I'd like HT to start making changes too, but in all honesty, if you're going to be this critical when judging a figure (and those who choose to buy it), one would think your shelves to be nearly devoid of this stuff. Just because it's not worth $225 to you, doesn't mean it's the same for everyone else. I'm actually sorry you guys must look at all but maybe one or two of your Predator collectibles with regretful disgust.
There are many stuck up d-bags who refuse to accept anything out of the movies, anything in the Expanded Universe, and will bash it at any given chance for no real reason other than to get attention and show off their dominant superiority crap like gorillas beating their chests in the wild.

Or Butters?![]()
What I mean is, I was around the Kenner figs, the movies, the comics, the books, etc, since that age.
I tried "Guan Thwei", but it was taken or somthing..so I was looking around and saw that "Lar'ja" meant dark..dunno if it's true or not, but I thought it'd be good enough to replace "Guan".
Yautja are what the Predators are called in the first AvP comics..friggin incredible stories.

Edit: erm..this post is a reply to Terminator Fan Game...
Do you mean that "DIDN'T happen in the movies."?There are some people that refuse to accept things that happened in the movies.
predator 1, predator 2, both slightly or totally remade, and a pack of skulls.what exactly do you collect from the Predator movies?
The list is far bigger, it would be unfair to single out.

Have you read AvP: Prey yet? If not, do so sometime..it's just such an awesome story.I see! Yeah, I think expanded universes are GREAT! Never really checked out the Predator stuff though. Just the Terminator stuff at the moment. A lot of people seem to hate on that too, but personally I really like it.
It's like that wonderful, furturistic Colonial Marine atmosphere, with Predators thrown in..and the epic story.
