Back to Pred: Am I the only person annoyed that the Left open mandible does not line up correctly with the seam? It's annoying the hell out of me!

Yeah, mine doesn't line up perfectly either. Doesn't bug me too much though.. The positives of the figure far outshine the negatives IMO.

Looks awesome . What did you use for the quills??? any links or pics of what you used?

I used a two part "filler I got from home depot..it's made out of rubber and they are flexible when they dry up..sorry I forgot the brand

The waist articulation on mine is good. The netting is a little baggy so it doesn't restrict poseability but not so lose as to be noticeable.

@r5150s: Your pics blow mine right out of the water. The quills and armor repaint look great. One question though, Whats up with the wrist blades they seem short?

i was trying to straightened the blades for more accuracy cause I think they curve too much and broke it but I tried saving it by cutting it short and I remember seeing a pic of it somewhere where it's not extended as much...

So I opened my Classic and the head fell right off. Nothing seems broken, it's just that the joint was out of the socket. Try as I might, I just can't get it back in -- or at least, get it in and have it stay. While I don't hear a snap, the head seems to be tightly-fitted and 9 times out of 10, moving it around a little won't do anything. But occasionally, it comes off again without applying any force whatsoever.

I don't know if this is a faulty joint, but it shouldn't have been out of its socket to begin with and none of my other HT Predators have experienced this problem. I'm wondering if I can talk to Sideshow's CS department to get a replacement. Think I'll give them an e-mail. What do you guys think?







PS: No mandible seam problems and my wristblades aren't warped. Hopefully the replacement I get will also be good in those respects.

Have you tried heating it up with a blow dryer?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but isn't odd that Hot Toys got the sculpt of the Super Pred skull's mandibles & skull shape right on this but on the Berserker figure the head & mandibles look smaller. Was it a different person that sculpted it if anyone knows?

Gave toylion's method a try (I might've given myself Carpal Tunnel getting the peg out of the head) and made sure I heard both the peg snap into place as well as the head. It still comes off with posing. The joint itself is just crap. Loose.
If not many other people have had this problem, maybe whoever assembled mine fumbled with it to the point where the socket was widened. In any case, I'm contacting CS about this.

AVP's combi stick yes, Hippies (well, lost) staff yes, Predator 2 combi stick is kind of too much of a stretch (for mine atleast)
