yeah i really hope HT stick to there word & seriously address all the QC problems weve been seeing. Especially with all the stuff thats coming out this year & announcements. Its such a pain in the ass to wait months & months to finally get the product then find its defective & has to go back & the waiting starts again grrrrrrrrrr lol

Just not acceptable with stuff as expensive as it is

have you heard anything from sideshow, about your replacement?

A Sideshow returns representative replied to me last Wednesday, inquiring as to whether or not the connection to the head or the body is the problem (so they know if they should just replace the head or the whole thing). I answered the question the same day, a few mere hours after I received the message and haven't heard anything since.

Ironic you say?:dunno

Although in all seriousness, I'm as bummed as you are. This was the 'HT Predator of the Year' for me (although Falconer and Tracker were hard to beat in their own seperate ways), so it's never fun to put something like that off. Just keeping cool here, staying busy with other stuff going on in my life, but I still have the thing in its box sitting out there in front of my shelf. Hopefully I'll hear from Sideshow soon, and hopefully you will too, if your situation is identical to mine (seems like it; read my previous post).

Mark my words, though... if this happens with the 1/6 P2 remake, things won't be as pleasant. Classic may have been 'HT Predator of the Year', but that P2 is 'Figure of the Year' period. Possibly more than that, assuming the 1/4 P1 isn't amazing enough to blow my socks off after already having seen/bought so much P1/Classic merch lately. The only thing that could ever one-up the P2 is a Celtic, but I have a feeling we'll have to wait a while for a new representation of him, regardless of scale. Hell, they're both in my top three (along with P2 Elder), so having any or all would be dream.

Just had time for one quick setup this morning. This guy's a bad-ass!

Brilliant pic, has anyone had the problem with the figure having a leaning look to it when using the base? I think it was pitu that mentioned it on his video review

Thanks. If you want him on the stand, you're really limited to what poses you can use, especially if you want to avoid that leaning backward look. But it can be achieved. In fact, in that pic I just posted he's not leaning backward at all. The legs can be tricky to pose, and some pivoting in the waste is required too. Just keep working at him!

Holy S this guy is awesome. I wondered for a sec if AE sent me 2 figs on accident...the box he came in was really big and heavy. I didn't realize how much this guy came with...totally worth the dough. This is probably the best Predator release of all time yet. Hot Toys does it again!

Yeah it's a big damn box. I had underestimated how large his base is, which makes up a large portion of it. Rzeznikk had a great photo a few pages back that showed how much larger the box is than a standard figure (Captain America):

Alter Ego does a perfect job of packing these boys, don't they?

I got Captain America from AlterEgo and Classic from Cornerstore. Both were packed excellently! :yess:

Also, this is the first Pred figure that really makes me want to use the light up features. I'll probably be burning through batteries :D

Someone said it lacks a lot of articulation because of the hologram light up on his arm. Anyone know if this is true?

That person would be referring to the gauntlet on that arm being sculpted on( as are other parts of his armor)the gauntlet on the other arm with the blades is not.

I'm very happy with the figure. I just wish HT would make there bases a bit bigger. Posing is very limited when you want to use the base. Same with Chris Reeve Superman.
