Does anyone else see "largely one flat grey color (sic)" on their armor? Even a hint?

Spanbauer has both the P1 and the Classic, and what he sees is his opinion and doesn't have to be the same as yours. You're the one who asked him and now you're being condescending.

Well, got this guy today. I've had just about every HT Predator made in my hands at one time or another (with exception of Anicom Scar exclusive and Pred from the Black Lagoon) and I think this is. . .the 2nd best Predator yet! And the only guy that I think edges him out is Shadow Pred. because I think his paint work is a bit niftier. Just awesome. I love this mold. His head was loose and came right off, but stays on well enough. I think I will just get rid of my remaining P1 now that I've got this one in-hand. As advertised.

Shadow Predator's paintwork is niftier? It's so much sloppier and they didn't even airbrush the spots. No blending so it looks more like paint and less like skin.

I'm with toylion when it comes to Butters' condescending reply to an answer he himself asked for (and I can kind of tell why the Classic armor looks a bit plastic; some of it anyway), but it boggles my mind why you'd say Shadow's paint apps are niftier. Unless, by "nifty" you mean "cooler" or something.

I'm not sure about "flat grey," but it does look a little more like plastic than it should. Not all of it, no. It's the left bicep armor where it's most noticeable for me, though it's not a problem.

Why do you feel the need to validate your opinion by obnoxiously jumping from person to person to get strength in numbers? It's an opinion, who gives a cake? You've acknowledged Spanbauer's (well, a little more than that), so move on.

Anyone else love the mandibles closed look most?? Usually it's my least favorite way to pose a predator but for some reason it looks best with this figure.

I wonder if the open mandibles are just too open?

I just think it looks more aesthetically pleasing. I was comparing the two, and my Shadow is no sloppier than my Classic, honestly. There is a bit less blending, but I figured that might be a stylistic choice.

As for the armor, there's not much to it, but it looks like HT did all they need to IMO. Sort of shiny gray plastic with a nice dark wash to accentuate things.
