This figure is amazing...so glad I purchased it for my collection. I love that hologram earth feature!

The dreads look cool in that photo too. HT's have deffo come along way over the past three years.

How many HT figures do you have now? Berserker and Falconer? Any humans? Are you hooked yet?

Absolutely. The skin paint is extremely well done. The armor for me left something to be desired, but it photographs well.

I like it the way it is, but how do you think they could impove on it?

Anything that could be done to make it look less like grey plastic and more metallic. Obviously it shouldn't be shiny, but more black wash and a mix of metallic shades instead of largely one flat grey color.

Check out the leg armor in this pic; it's far from the flat grey that th Hot Toys figure uses:

Anyone else love the mandibles closed look most?? Usually it's my least favorite way to pose a predator but for some reason it looks best with this figure.

I wonder if the open mandibles are just too open?

Are you kidding me? "largely one flat grey color"? I see a very realistic looking metallic silver base with subtle black weathering, I don't see how they could improve on that...

We'll have to agree to disagree then. I found the plastic armor off-putting the moment I opened the box, and it took me a while to get past it and appreciate the amazingly well-painted skin. :dunno

You are joking, right? :lol :huh They ALL have plastic armor... I suggest you got to an optometrists and have them check you out.

Does anyone else see "largely one flat grey color (sic)" on their armor? Even a hint? :lol

i think the armor looks pretty realistic to how it does on film.. i dont think metal armor would look better... most likely worse actually.
