Outfit plus accessories. With Marty you got shirt, jacket, vest, pants, shoes, skateboard, walkman, and watch. But they are extremely detailed and of the very highest quality. Hot Toys-level, arguably higher.

Of course, many NECA collectors will be equally shocked about spending $200 for a Hot Toys Predator figure ;)

:lol

I got 2 NECA Pred's but I paying £170 for my Classic! Do I wish it was £70 less yes I do but I can tell its a quality product from the pictures and reviews. :)

Wth, Thierry? You still don't have yours? Get on board already. :monkey3

:lol 'coz waiting from BBTS my friend!... :wink1:

I posted this in the Jack Sparrow thread, so I'll echo it here--I got both this and Jack Sparrow DX yesterday. And Sparrow is a great figure. He's probably as good a deal as you will find with Hot Toys, considering all the nifty accessories, details, options, etc.

But between that figure and Predator, Predator was much more impressive to me. He exceeded my expectations, while Jack merely met them. Hard to say why, but it is true. Out of the box, I was just really really happy with how Classic Predator turned out.

That is all.

:exactly: You're so right when you say that the Jack Sparrow figure is incredible! I have it also and I think indeed it's an amazing figure.
... But what you say about the Classic is not going to calm my impatience hehe... :gah: :lol

I think he was referring to my post about Rainman's prices for an outfit/accessory set. $350-400 is pretty common for Rainman. Kato seems to charge a lot more, and does not include accessories to my knowledge. Rainman will also usually sell head sculpts for 'roundabout $50 unpainted.

I know, but he seemed surprised by that price. So was just informing him that outfits alone can command higher prices. Don't get me wrong that suit is a work of art. I've had suits tailored made before in Beverly Hill that didn't cost me that much. It was over 12 years ago but still.

Oh, yeah. I wasn't joking when I said that I think Kato's Joker was $1,000 just for the outfit. And I think the sculpt folks were getting was another $1,000 on top of that! My entire wardrobe, including shoes and my one suit, couldn't possibly have cost me more than $500 :lol

Collectors are a funny breed.

Nor should it! :lol

Rest well knowing that you will have a superior bio mask to the rest of us ;)

:lol
In France, we have a saying: "Those are the Cordonier who are the worst shod!" :lecture
... So, if I tell you that I did not even kept a mask for me, will you believe me? :monkey2

I feel like... :horse

... Strange? :cuckoo: :lol

Yeah it was in reply to your post.
That is crazy! I think $200 is a lot for a figure let alone spending double that for just clothes.

Someone should beat you with a stick for that! :lol

And nekro, again, it isn't just for the clothes! :lol

 I really really REALLY hope that Hot Toys revisits the 1/6 AVP preds and they aren't jut done in the new 1/4 scale they mentioned. I totally missed the boat on those original AVP preds and they are just way too expensive for me to pick up now...

I think they will. Why? Predator licenses for Hot Toys are a:

And yeah, by today's standards, those AVP Predators are pretty horrible IMO.
