Oh and to those who hate the new face, thankfully, it's not in the film for that long. It's really quick. It doesnt stay on it for long. If it wasnt for the pictures, you wouldnt know what it really looks like.

The problem with the new face, is that it is going up against Stan Winston's design. It really did not have a chance, and just looked weaker in comparison. I guess they realised that after shooting the fight scene, and edited it so we did not really get a good look.
Mr Black's Bio mask did look good to me anyway.

Nimrod Antal certainly enjoyed seeing Preds being decapitated

Who doesnt? lol.

But yeah, obviously nothing holds a candle to Winstons. It was just another race. (I miss the genetic stuff....:()

Also, I liked how we got to know the characters in the situation, rather then got to know them. It made it easier to root for them, as opposed to knowing who they are, and what they did. And I also like how most of the characters attempted at redeeming themselves. Like this was Purgotory...and they were being judged. So why not try to make up for the past mistakes?

Pretty cool stuff if you ask me.

The clip that is shown 1.08 into this movie, was part of my favourite scene in the whole movie

Happend for the last two movies. Loved it first time...but view, after view....ugh.

I actually liked AVP in the theatre. I didn't think it sucked until I watched it at home on DVD. Like you said, seeing it more than once plus (IMO) without the "Theater Experience" it just wasn't the same.

Same thing for me with Independence Day. Liked in the theater, but at home it was meh. And it also works in reverse (for me) sometimes. I hated Star Gate in the theater. But I actually liked it at home.

Kinda weird. :dunno

:lol

It only happend once in a while...AvP, AvP-R, Terminator Salvation (That whole last act was too cool for me. When Arnie showed up, I was like OMGOMOMGOMOG, but the second time I was bored out of my mind. ) I am Legend, eh..and a few more.

I always see a movie twice. One day apart. I saw ROTF 3 times in 2 days...and I still liked it. I knew it was ____ty, but I cant say it wasnt fun. :lol

Please keep photos of even figures that could spoil significant parts of the film out of this thread please.

There's not a whole lot to spoil to be honest. It's not like it's a deep story with twists that make you think 'wow'. I agree with Tay, I think these franchises being resurrected these days are all passed it. They worked in the early 80's and early 90's because it was all ahead of it's time and fresh. That's why terminator 3 and salvation weren't that great. Leave these classic films alone, they cannot be beaten these days. I'm not trolling I just think that Hollywood has run out of ideas and is failing at reviving these old franchises. I really hope inception is awesome cos I've not enjoyed any movies this summmer.

Going to first showing today...........looking forward to it....Incepton is the one I am really waiting for though....next week cant get here fast enough

Well, saw it last night, theater was packed...
Pleasantly surprised by the acting... a bit disappointed by the amount of Predators on-screen time...
Story line was pretty good, and most characters were solid, though there were quite a few plot-holes, but overall, a great movie, and a very refreshing addition to the franchise!
Loved the Falconer Pred, really cool character design.
Classic Pred's face was a bit disappointing, but not as bad as any of the AVP ones... :lol

Can't wait to see it again! :rock!! 8.5/10

i agree.....:clap

I enjoyed the movie . I give it a 6.5 out of 10. I wanted to see more predators on the screen and I thought Lawrence fishboure roll was ridiculous. He was a complete out of his mind dumbo. I guess I thought his presence in the film would have made more of an impact. Bad writing on that end. Another thing to consider is that we never seen the face of the other predators beside bezerker. I wonder what hot toys will do with them . Will they create there own vision of what they should look like without there mask ?
